A Band Of Orcs Announces Live Show With Deicide
California death metallers A Band of Orcs have issued the following statement about an upcoming show alongside Deicide:

Misery Index Confirmed For Mezcal Metal Fest
Misery Index have issued the following statement about confirming their appearance at Mexico's Mezcal Metal Fest:
"Hey all, we are playing the Mezcal Metalfest on Sept 13, I think we are supposed to get our own limited edition Misery Index Tequila bottles in return. Sounds dangerous...come out Mexico City!"

Deicide Cancels Australian/New Zealand Tour Again
The scheduled October Australian/New Zealand tour of Florida death metal legends DEICIDE has been cancelled yet again. Soundworks Touring and Deicide deeply apologize for any inconveniences and disappointments to fans.
Deicide had already postponed their shows in April and rescheduled them in October, only to cancel once again.
In a statement from Glenn Benton: “We are currently working on the new album and will be recording during the time frame of said tour… on behalf of the band and myself we are sorry for any inconvenience and will reschedule the tour for another time frame as soon as we can, all the best Glen Benton DEICIDE”

Deicide Announces Rescheduled Australian Shows
Death metal legends Deicide has announced the rescheduled dates for their Australian tour. The tour was originally scheduled to begin next month but had to be postponed due to recording commitments.
The new tour dates are as follows:

Deicide Postpones Australian/New Zealand Tour
Deicide has reportedly postponed their visit to Australia and New Zealand in April as a result of scheduling conflicts with the recording of the new studio album. The band has apologized for the delay but assure fans that they will be heading Down Under in October of this year. The purchased tickets will still be valid for the rescheduled shows.

"The Lost and Damned," the first expansion pack for Rockstar Games' hugely successful video game, Grand Theft Auto IV, is out now on Xbox 360. Order Of Ennead Issues Tour Road Report
Floridian extreme metallers Order of Ennead who have just reached the end of the Winterfest 2009 tour with Deicide, Samael, Vader, Devian and The Amenta, have posted a diary report chronicling the first week of the tour.
ORDER OF ENNEAD vocalist/guitarist KEVIN QUIRION writes:
"Day 1 013 Tilburg
Arrived at the airport on January 8th and quickly got into the bus and headed two hours to Tilburg. Within a couple hours of being at the venue it was time to go on. After party was pretty intense with meeting everyone and settling in. Show went well. Man those Polish dudes in Vader can drink.
Day 2 Haarlem Patronaat
Drove to Haarlem. John Lie and myself got up early and checked out an old cathedral. The new drummer of Arsis, Dave Kinkade, came to the show and we hung out. Show went very well and we were sounding tight. That warm up show in Tampa really paid off. Hanging out with the guys in the Amenta a lot and also talking to Legion from Devian, great guy. Ralph Santolla uses every chance to give John Li hell. It's hilarious. More...
Loads More Bands Confirmed For Hellfest
Plenty more bands have been confirmed for this years edition of France's biggest metal festival, Hellfest. Among the new names confirmed are Deicide, Gojira, Pentagram, Amebix and Soilent Green. A press release from the festivals organizers reads as follows:

Nobody will be surprised to see names to satisfy all those who are fans of Hellfest and it will be Christmas all over again!

Deicide Signs To Century Media
Death metal legends Deicide have signed a new record deal with Century Media Records, it has been revealed. The band are currently working on a new album and are planning to have it released by the summer.

Deicide Frontman Glen Benton Slams Blabbermouth
Glen Benton, frontman of the legendary death metal band Deicide has posted the following message online:
"Let me clear up a few things about past cancellations and the recent central american fiasco, firstly to all you stupid fucks on blabber crap in your mouth.net who talk your crap about my past cancellations of shows. I only cancel shows when the safety of the band has come into question or if there is a personal family issue for anyone in the band or crew that might arise ( and they do) and lastly the unprofessional and dirty dealings of adolescent shit promoters who like to play games with our money. Yes money!!!!!!…Did you stupid fucks that post your ridicules bullshit on blabber crap.net think we do this for free? Fuck no!!!!!…There is this bad habit my kids have it's called eating and living under a roof…and when you fuck with my money I take it personally and I walk, I have that option…I'm my own boss.. I have better things to do than get stuck at airports and stranded in foreign countries where I cant communicate in order to do my job when people drop the ball. So when we make an agreement with someone for a performance I expect them to live up to their part of the agreement, if not, I do what I have to. Most intelligent people would agree that not even I work for free. Unlike you children who post your ignorant bullshit on blabbercrap.net while living in your parents basement with mommy washing and folding your underwear and cooking your meals and wiping your asses…I am an adult with family and big people responsibilities…and have people who count on myself to make decisions in the best interest and safety of myself and the other members of DEICIDE..I am never happy having to walk off a tour or not do a scheduled show - this is not something I plan or conspire to do, and you the fan are not the only ones disappointed, we are as well. Deicide Cancels Central American Shows
Deicide frontman Glen Benton has posted the following message online:
"This morning we went to the airport in Honduras and the fine folks at Taca Airlines gave our tickets away to other people, and when we tried to change the tickets and make the remaining shows, there were no other flights available to get us to El Salvador, and the promoter expected us to drive across countries, through document and border checks and with no guarantee of safe return. And, because our agent didn't give us any contact info or contracts for the promoters down there, or answer his phone (we called 100 times with no answer), we were forced to come back to the States, completely because of the way this Central American run was mishandled by the promoter in Central America and the agent. We had no choice but to come back or get stuck there without flights.
"We are in touch with our evil attorney and I can assure you someone will pay for the fucking we got and the fans got, with my and Deicide's sincerest apologies, but it was completely out of our hands…thank the unprofessional job of the agents involved and Taca Airlines, especially the supervisor of Taca Airlines in the Honduras airport… and to the local promoter in Honduras who fucked us last night, the fans there can thank you for Deicide never playing your country again...unless your so-called 'concert promoters' get their heads out of their asses in a big way.
"I want to make clear that not only did we get screwed by shoddy planning, but the real losers here are our fans who were looking forward to seeing us play as much as we were looking forward to doing the shows – we know how crazed Central and South American fans are for a brutal Deicide show, and the fans got fucked. We try very hard to keep all our commitments, and you know we take care of our fans. I wish this had turned out differently, but the matter was unfortunately out of our hands. Keep it fucking evil as always."

Order Of Ennead has been added to the huge Winterfest tour which will see them team up with the likes of Deicide, Vader, Samael, Devian and The Amenta for a European tour. The tour is scheduled to begin in January and tour dates will be revealed shortly.

After their much-lauded debut album “Ninewinged Serpent” in 2007 and a comprehensive European tour with Polish death metal overlords Vader, Sweden’s blackened death/thrash commando DEVIAN, who feature former Marduk members Legion (vocals) and Emil Dragutinovic (drums) in their ranks, return with a second album, "God To The Illfated." Frontman Legion comments on the creation of DEVIAN’s sophomore album:
"'God To The Illfated' is the result of DEVIAN fusing together as its own powerhouse. Having the luxury of making music together with one's best friends made the new songs step up to a whole different league throughout the writing sessions: we all bled everything into the album, everything that we knew was DEVIAN and explored as much new ground as we could.
