Disembodied has announced a reunion show, which also doubles as a release show for the new book, "Burning Fight: The Nineties Hardcore Revolution in Ethics, Politics, Spirit and Sound."
The event will take place on May 2nd and 3rd at The Metro in Chicago. Doors open at noon on both days, and two-day passes are $55. No single day tickets are available. Advance tickets will be on sale on November 6th. Show organizers say that all proceeds after expenses will be directed towards Rock for Reading and PAWS Chicago.

Less than two months after the release of their Equal Vision Records debut, Betrayed has reportedly broken up. Formed in 2004, the West Coast band has not publicly confirmed the break-up, but several semi-reliable sources have.
Betrayed have added some more tracks from their recently released new effort "Substance", you can check them out here.
Equal Vision has announced the signing of Betrayed. "Having been fans of the members' previous bands (Champion, Carry On, Terror), and of the Betrayed Addiction EP and split with Champion, Equal Vision was extremely excited to work with this band," the label says in its release.
Betrayed's upcoming 13-song album, Substance will be in stores on July 11th. You can download an mp3 of the title track, "Substance" from equalvision.com or listen to that track and more at the band's MySpace page.
Hardcore band Betrayed are confirmed to have signed with Equal Vision Records. Featuring former members of Champion and Carry On, the group has previously released material with Bridge Nine Records and Rivalry Records. In February the band finished recording their EVR debut in Salem, MA. The effort will feature roughly fourteen songs and is expected to hit streets early this summer.
Champion, Betrayed, Internal Affairs, and Miles Away will be touring Australia together in December. Here are the tour dates scheduled so far:

Hardcore band Betrayed, featuring members of Champion, etc., have officially joined the Bridge Nine Records roster. The group features Aram Arslanian (Champion) on vocals, Todd Jones (Carry On) on guitar, Greg Bacon (Stand & Fight, etc.) on bass, and Todd Preboski (Champion) on drums. Their new EP, titled "Addiction," features six songs and will be available on July 12th. You can download a song from the effort here.
