Ghoul Announces "Weapons Of Mosh Destruction" Tour
Ghoul - the hooded hooligans of Creepsylvania - are bursting blood vessels to finally announce the second installment of the Weapons Of Most Destruction Tour.
Set to launch this April, team Ghoul will lay waste to seven unsuspecting metropolises throughout the West Coast alongside hardcore thrash mutant accomplices, Iron Reagan, and experimental punk/hardcore rippers, Occultist.
Following their pillage, the band will spread ghoulish delectables all over Oakland headlining the first night of this year's edition of Brainsqueeze Fest. Full details on the trek are available below.
Proclaims Ghoul from the band's underground headquarters: "Loyal numbskulls, the Weapons Of Mosh Destruction Tour is rearing its ugly head again, and Ghoul is looking forward to burning your towns, raping your pets, and drinking your beer as we unmercifully bombard the West Coast of your United States on our way to the Tankcrimes Brainsqueeze in Oakland, California. In the unlikely event that you are lucky enough to survive the blitzkrieg assault of Iron Reagan and Occultist, you will be decapitated and disemboweled by Ghoul's razor sharp riffs, and after that, our razor sharp razors. All survivors will be brought back to the catacombs in cages, where Ghoul will keep you alive on a cocktail of morphine and energy drinks while we carve away chunks of your flesh to devour while you watch in horror... I may have said too much. Come to the show! Nothing bad will happen to you!" More...
Ghoul Announces 10" EP
In recognition of that holiest of holy days, Record Store Day, the masked mutants in Ghoul are releasing "Hang Ten," a limited edition six-song (mostly) instrumental 10" EP.
Featuring guest vocals from Tony Foresta (Municipal Waste, Iron Reagan) as Henchman #1 and R.A. MacLean (ex-Deadbolt) as Kreeg, alongside Digestor, Cremator, Fermentor, Dissector and The Moron Cavern-Shackled Choir, "Hang Ten" was recorded by Salvador Raya at Earhammer Studios in Oakland (birthing home of Splatterhash, Splatterthrash and Transmission Zero), mastered by Dan Randall at Mammoth Sound Mastering, and sports cover art by Sean Aaberg of Pork Magazine.
Noted Cambridge University musical anthropologist Dr. Mantle Bannister PhD had this to say about this odd assortment of tenebrous tunes: "Why, it's quite remarkable. I've never heard the like. Is it surf? Not quite. Is it metal? Maybe. Is it jazz? No, that's a stupid question, unfit for a real life noted musical anthropologist such as myself. It's from Creepsylvania, you say? Ghastly country. Absolutely crawling with gypsies. Say, old chap, who let you in to my office?"
The album is due out April 19th, and the track listing is as follows:
1. The Midnight Ride of the Cannibals MC
2. Kreeg
3. Sidehackers
4. Hang Ten
5. Blood on the Street
6. It Was a Very Good Year More...

"Splatterhash" boasts four tracks of audio mayhem due out January 7th. For the band's portion, Ghoul returned to Earhammer Studios in Oakland, California to record "Transmission Zero" and "Spill Your Guts."
Says vocalist/guitarist Digestor from his Creepsylvanian penthouse: "Numbskulls and future Numbskulls! Once again, Ghoul returns to help you rot your eardrums, soil your pantaloons, and disappoint your parents. This time we brought our pals in Cannabis Corpse, though we regretfully had to murder them after hearing how good their side of the split is. We'd like to take this time to apologize to their fans, friends, and families. Such a waste..." More...

Ghoul Streaming Dayglo Abortions Cover
Today splatterthrash death hooligans Ghoul hurl forth “Proud to be Creepsylvanian.” Originally released as “Proud to Be Canadian” by the The Dayglo Abortions, the tune comes off Ghoul’s forthcoming "Intermediate Level Hard-Core: covers EP. Check out the track below, courtesy of Cvltnation.com.
Comments guitarist/vocalist Digestor of the rendition: “We covered this song by the legendary Dayglo Abortions because we feel a kinship with the people of Canada, even though there are clearly differences between the two great countries. For instance, one is a hellish, barren, nightmare-scape devoid of happiness and fun, and drenched in the tears of a subjugated populace, and the other is called Creepsylvania. Though I have heard that Vancouver is nice."
"Intermediate Level Hard-Core" is available now digitally and on vinyl via Tankcrimes Records and delivers five tracks of gristly hardcore/punk worship with Ghoulified versions of tunes from Dayglo Abortions as well as Fearless Iranians From Hell, Willful Neglect, N.O.T.A, and Gwar. You can also catch Ghoul live:
7/27/2013 Jerry’s Pizza - Bakersfield, CA
