Loathe Announces Headlining Tour
Liverpool's heavy experimental collective of 5, Loathe, is very pleased to announce a U.K. headline tour for August/September. Loathe will be touring in celebration of debut record "The Cold Sun," which was released via SharpTone Records only a handful of days ago.
Support on the tour will be coming from London based tech death metallers Harbinger. Loathe’s Kadeem France stated: "We are excited to bring Harbinger along with us this August and September around the UK for a special headline run. It's been a long time coming and this Autumn the United Kingdom gets colder..."

Loathe Releases "East Of Eden" Video
Liverpool experimental collective Loathe today releases debut full-length album, "The Cold Sun," today on SharpTone Records. The album is available for purchase here.
In conjunction with today’s release, Loathe has also premiered a brand new video for the song “East of Eden,” which can be viewed below. Talking about the new record’s debut, guitarist Erik Bickerstaffe says:
"Viewing the release of 'The Cold Sun' is something that at one point seemed a lifetime away. Now that the time has come, we have never been more infatuated or enthusiastic about our collective effort before. We hope you thoroughly enjoy what we 5 have worked ever so tirelessly on."
A concept record, "The Cold Sun" features a compelling 35 minute long meandering into the depths of a dark, post-apocalyptic tale. The record follows the adjacent timeline of two protagonists, who exist during a dystopian future stricken by tragedy. The record was recorded at Glow In The Dark Studios in Atlanta, Georgia under the watchful eye of producer Matt McClellan. More...
Loathe Posts "It's Yours" Video
Liverpool's experimental collective of 5, Loathe, is very pleased to announce the release of their latest video and single “It’s Yours.” The clilp was directed by Zak Pinchin Media and can be seen below.
Loathe’s Erik Bickerstaffe comments: “We wanted a song to bridge the gap between what we thought would be expected and what we intended to do with the record. With ‘It's Yours’, we went about the creative process a bit differently to how we usually do and it fell into place as the track that connects the dots.
"Visually, we brought ourselves into the spotlight for the video, providing a face for the name. Zak worked very closely with us when it came to perfecting every detail within the aesthetic and we're extremely pleased with what we achieved.”

Loathe To Play Hellfest U.K. Party
Liverpool based experimental rock/metal collective of 5, Loathe, is delighted to announce the band will be playing at the Hellfest Official U.K. Party. The event will take place on the 11th of May in London at the New Cross Inn.

Liverpool group Loathe has announced plans to release debut album, "The Cold Sun," with SharpTone Records on April 14th. Today, the band releases new song and video, “Dance On My Skin" (available below), along with album pre-orders here.
"The Cold Sun" is a concept record; a compelling 35-minute-long meandering into the depths of a dark, post-apocalyptic tale. The record follows the adjacent timeline of two protagonists, who exist during a dystopian future, stricken by tragedy and the ever-looming apocalypse.
For this album, Loathe traveled to Glow In The Dark Studios in Atlanta, Georgia to record under the watchful eye of producer Matt McClellan (Underoath, The Devil Wears Prada, Being As An Ocean).
“Our writing process varies from song to song, but usually it takes one of us to have the initial vision for what we want to create. We then each add our own personal input which completes the piece,“ states Shayne Smith, when asked about the quintet’s approach. More...
