Excalibur Signs With Fighter Records
Spanish metal pioneers Excalibur (formed back in 1984) has just signed a deal with Fighter Records for the release of the third full length studio album (and first since 1996) entitled "Humo Negro" ("Black Smoke") which will be released this coming spring.
After a couple of demos in '84 & '87, Excalibur released the debut album "Generación Maldita" (Damned Generation) in '88, which only 100 copies were saved from destruction making it one of the most sought-after treasures of Spanish metal.
In 1996, the band recorded the second album "Cero" (Zero) which was never commercialized, and remains unreleased still today. In 2013, the band returned with a new EP titled "Más Duros" (Harder). Now in 2017, the band finished "Humo Negro," which represents the purest and most traditional Spanish metal to be distributed both nationally and internationally via Fighter Records.
More details of "Humo Negro" are expected soon. More...
