Demon Hunter Post Another New Song Online

A new DEMON HUNTER track, entitled "Storm The Gates Of Hell", has been posted online on the group's MySpace page. The song is the title cut of the Seattle-based Christian metallers' fourth album, "Storm the Gates of Hell", due on November 6 via Solid State Records. The CD was produced by Aaron Sprinkle (EMERY, THE ALMOST). Mixing duties were handled by Machine (LAMB OF GOD, WHITE ZOMBIE, ARMOR FOR SLEEP).

DEMON HUNTER vocalist Ryan Clark previously stated about the new CD, "Let me just say that, although every band always says their most recent record is their best, this new record is without a doubt DEMON HUNTER at our very finest and most creative. We've really pushed the boundaries of the music we're used to playing in DEMON HUNTER, and I believe, in metal music in general. It's a very diverse record. I tend to view DEMON HUNTER as a fairly diverse band to begin with, but there is some material on this record that covers some very new ground. I sing in ways I've never sung before. The guitar tones are different than any previous record. There are songs that are far faster and more brutal than we've ever done. Overall, I feel this record will undoubtedly make you all pleasantly surprised." More...

Demon Hunter Update

Demon Hunter currently have over half of their as-yet untitled new album written and are planning to enter the studio on July 18th to begin recording it with Aaron Sprinkle (Project 86, Acceptance) behind the boards. Here's the latest update from the band:

"Hunters!! DH III is in the works and we have over half of the album written! We are more excited about this material than ever before. We can't wait for everyone to hear it. New songs include "Fire To My Soul," "Not I" and "The Soldier's Song." In other news, we were forced to turn down a slot on the Sounds Of The Underground tour and we've been absent from the road this year due to a wrist injury sustained by Don. However he's now in great shape for writing and recording and after a minor surgery he will have no problem getting back in front of the fans in 2006. We have also been newly energized with fresh blood in the lineup. We will enter The Compound in Seattle this summer with a fall release date coming soon. Our "as-yet untitled" third album will be a guest-vocalist free affair this time, allowing THE HUNTERS to get the purest form of DH possible. Aaron Sprinkle will again produce, having more than delivered the goods on our self-titled debut and last year's SOD release. More merchandise to be added soon to the DH store and more news to come!!! We enter the studio July 18th!!"
