Dark Tranquillity Posts New Song Online

Swedish melodic death metal band DARK TRANQUILLITY have launched their brand-new song, “Dream Oblivion,” at their MySpace page. The band’s follow-up to 2007’s “Fiction” was recorded at DARK TRANQUILLITY’s very own Rogue Music studio and mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio in Denmark.Their new album, “We Are The Void,” which will be released on the following dates:

More Bands Confirmed For Graspop 2010

The organizers of Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting has announced a string of new additions to the lineup for next years event, which will take place in the town of Dessel between June 25th-27th. The latest bands confirmed for the event are Bullet For My Valentine, Killswitch Engage, Doro, Nile, Sabaton, Therion, Bloodbath, Mucky Pup and Hail Of Bullets.

First Bands Announced For Graspop Metal Meeting

The organizers of the Belgian metal festival has announced the first batch of bands that will be performing at the event in June of next year. KISS has been confirmed to be one of the headlining acts at the festival, which follows on from their successful headlining slot at Graspop in 2008.

Watch Me Bleed Comments On Show Cancellation

Germany's Watch Me Bleed has issued the following statement about canceling their scheduled tour date tonight:

"We're very sorry to tell all you metalheads out there that tonight's show at the Komma / Wörgl (A) got canceled. The headlining band Deadlock pulled out of the show today in the morning because of some stomach-illness of one of the bandmembers.

"We were ready to rock and metal up your asses with you guys at the Komma...so once again a big sorry to you all. WE hope to see you next time..."

Deadlock Posts New Song Online

German melodic death metal band, Deadlock, has posted a new track from their album "Manifesto" on their MySpace page. "Martyr to Science" is the second song from the record that has been posted on the band's profile.

Drummer Tobias Graf comments on the song, "We feel like Martyr to Science is one of the strongest songs from our album and showcases who we are as a band perfectly. The track combines our fast and technical trademarks and wonderful female vocals lines."

Germany's Deadlock have issued the following update regarding the departure of bassist Thomas Gschwendner:

"We're not happy to announce, that we parted ways with Tom after more than 7 common years. Due to some musical and personal differences we agreed with him, that it's better to make a cut. Deadlock Begins Posting New Songs Online

Deadlock has begun the countdown to the release of their latest album, "Manifesto." The daily stream of their new songs started today and the band has uploaded the first song to their brand new relaunched MySpace profile.

The first song is called "THE MORIBUND CHOIR VS. THE TRUMPETS OF ARMAGEDDON" and it's an evil metallic instrumental, that opens your ears for what you can expect from the daily following songs of the new album.

From Monday, November 3rd to Thursday, November 13th, the band will be presenting all 11 tracks of their new album, "Manifesto" on Myspace. There will be one new song uploaded daily at 09:00h CET and you can listen to each of them 24 hours for free before the next one will show up.

Deadlock Announces New Album Title

Germany’s DEADLOCK has announced the title of their fourth album as "Manifesto." The album is currently receiving final touches by engineer Jacob Hansen (Mercenary, Volbeat, Heaven Shall Burn). The scheduled release date is on November 17th in Europe and January 6th in the U.S.

DEADLOCK has also filmed a webisode to shorten the time to the album. The webisode can be watched here.
