Over the years, both prior to and after their reunion, Treat have established themselves as leaders in the Swedish melodic hard rock scene. With bassist Nalle Påhlsson (who appeared on Coup De Grace) back in the ranks, vocalist Robert Ernlund, guitarist Anders "Gary" Wikström, drummer Jamie Borger, and keyboardist Patrick Appelgren have once again set a course for yet another exciting musical journey. Twelve songs in total, including uptempo rockers, ballads, '80s sounding gems, and ones with musical influences beyond the ordinary, make this album another definitive statement by the quintet from the south of Stockholm. Produced by Peter Mansson (who also helmed Tunguska and Ghost Of Graceland), "The Endgame," by all means qualifies as a true classic album from Treat. More...

Treat Reveals New Album Details

Frontiers Music Srl is proud to announce the forthcoming release of "The Endgame," the ninth studio album by Swedish melodic rock band Treat. A first single and video from it entitled "Home Of The Brave" is available now.

Treat established themselves as leaders in the Swedish melodic hard rock scene in the years prior to their split in 1993 and again after their 2006 reunion. With bassist Nalle Påhlsson back in the ranks, the quintet (which also includes vocalist Robert Ernlund, guitarist Anders ‘Gary’ Wikström, drummer Jamie Borger and keyboardist Patrick Appelgren) have once again provided a fresh and exciting musical journey with "The Endgame." Twelve songs that include uptempo rockers, ballads, '80s sounding gems and some musical surprises make the record a definitive statement from the band. It is produced by Peter Mansson, who also helmed the group’s previous two albums, "Ghost Of Graceland" (2016) and "Tunguska’"(2018).

"We always want to make albums that are better than the last one," states Wikström. "The album title represents many things about Treat in this day and age, including the sincerity and history of the band, but also the fight to survive like brothers in arms through all these years of highs and lows, tears and laughter. We grew up together in the '80s, learning how to make our brand of melodic hard rock by heart and we continue to work that hard today. We are as close as a family and blessed to still be able to get in the ring and be on top of our game. For a band that has been going for nearly four decades, inspiration and the drive to create fresh material still propels us." More...

Treat Reveals The "Ghost Of Graceland"

Iconic Swedish melodic rock act Treat will release the new album "Ghost of Graceland" on April 15th via Frontiers Music Srl. The album is the first new material in six years (2010's "Coup de Grace").

Building on the success of "Coup de Grace" - hailed by both fans and critics as a masterpiece - Treat is releasing an album packed with reflective, soul searching songs dressed in devilishly seductive yet hard hitting melodic rock.

"This is where we are today, as a band, as musicians, songwriters and individuals. It's a statement: this is us in 2016", says main songwriter and guitarist Anders Wikström.

"Ghost of Graceland" was produced by long time Treat fan and respected writer/producer Peter Mansson and co-produced by Anders Wikström, showcases a band with a thirty plus career, that are hungrier and more energetic than ever!

To achieve the organic, pure, bold, (somewhat) cocky, contemporary sound with melodies and choruses to die for that they were going for, the band took a step back. Says Anders Wikström: "It's a musical as well as a personal soul searching. We traced us back to our roots, the music and the heroes that got us dreaming back in the 70's: KISS, Van Halen, Sweet, Deep Purple and UFO. An era where music and musicianship really mattered and rock 'n' roll was a matter of life or death." Treat got in the time machine and retrieved all that restless energy. But "Ghost of Graceland," with all it's delicious, action packed and hook laden melodic rock that could soundtrack a party, also sees a band that reflects on their personal lives. More...
