Lurid Memory Releasing New EP

Death metal outfit Lurid Memory might seem like a newcomer to many, however that is not the case, as this San Diego based quartet features current and past members of brutal death metal titans Gortuary.

"We are excited to release our debut EP, 'Dematerializing,'" states guitarist / vocalist Oscar Padilla. "It represents the apex of our song writing abilities as individuals and as a unit. New music is currently being written for a full length, and show and tour announcements to come soon."

Featuring cover art by Spanish illustrator Raul Gonzalez (Morbus Chron, Skinfather, Deceased), “Dematerializing” was produced by Edward Tolarda (Disgorge) at DHQ in San Diego, CA. This E. also includes a special guest appearance by Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation. "Dematerializing" is set for release on September 18th and the track listing is:

Lurid Memory Signs With Funeral Noise

San Diego based progressive outfit Lurid Memory has inked a deal with L.A.'s very own Funeral Noise Records.

Formed in 2010, Lurid Memory initially was formed under the moniker Memory. Through lineup changes, the band began performing live extensively while also perfecting its sound. In 2012, the band's first recorded efforts came to light in the form of a self-released promo entitled "Unclear Mental Portraits From Live Past."

Today, Lurid Memory embarks on a new chapter - with its current lineup, the band is in full motion and is set to release a debut EP entitled "Dematerializing" this fall.
