Rising UKBM horde Barshasketh today premieres the new track "Ophidian Henosis - IV," which can be heard below. The track hails from the band's third album, "Ophidian Henosis," set for international release on July 30th via Blut & Eisen Productions.

"Ophidian Henosis" explodes forth with cryogenic violence and fog-drenched atmosphere, arcing about with subtle shifts in texture and twists in composition, maintaining a headspace of otherworldly splendour whilst never lingering too long in a monochromatic mire. The track listing is:

Barshasketh Announces Split With Void Ritual
Scotland-based Barshasketh and USBM act Void Ritual have paired up for a sprawling split to be released on February 17, 2015 by Broken Limbs. The split is limited to 100 copies on black shell cassettes.
Comprising two tracks, Barshasketh's side of the split is a return to the primal origins of the band. "Palingenesis" is a re-recording of the very first Barshasketh track that was ever written, now revisited with a new intensity.
Void Ritual has contributed three songs to this split with Scotland’s Barshasketh. While the music is a continuation of the sound established on "Holodomor," it’s also much uglier and yet more melodic. The lyrics deal with horrific cults in recent history, their bizarre theology and violent conclusions: the Heaven’s Gate, Paradise, and Order of the Solar Temple cults.
