Cauldron Posts New Song Online
Canadian metal trio Cauldron will release their long-awaited fifth studio album entitled "New Gods" on September 7 through Dissonance Productions in Europe and. For the follow up to their critically-acclaimed 2016 album "In Ruin", Jason Decay (lead vocals/bass), Ian Chains (guitar) and Myles Deck (drums) together with producer Chris Stringer (Timber Timbre, Wooden Sky) honed and recorded the songs at Union Sound in Toronto for what would become "New Gods". "New Gods", the group's fifth full-length studio record, once again promises a strong emphasis on songwriting and melody, complete with high-end organic production to match.
"I am very proud of the songwriting, performances and production on this one, and it is definitely the most confident I have been in a finished album of ours. It is dark, it's heavy and it has a very melodic sense of AOR. Most importantly, it still sounds very Cauldron. I'm pretty sure people who were into In Ruin will like this one just as much if not more!" says Decay.

Cauldron Member Injured In Serious Crash
While on tour with Exmortus and Warbringer, Cauldron has been involved in a serious vehicle accident in the U.S. that saw Ian Chains being hospitalized. The band comments:
"Sorry to report the unfortunate news of our accident (not at fault btw) on the highway in Texas last night and that we will have to pull out of the remaining 8 tour dates. Ian is recovering in hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, otherwise everyone is going to be OK. We are just happy to be alive at this point. Thanks for your support and to our tour mates Enforcer, Warbringer & Exmortus; we had fun and wish you all the best. Hope to see you all again soon."
Exmortus also posted this message online: "Our comrades and brothers in arms, Cauldron, have experienced a horrible accident after our show in Dallas last night. We're glad that they're alive. Only shred maniac, Ian, suffered a few fractures in his back and neck, so send all your positive vibes for a speedy recovery! It's unfortunate that they cannot carry on the rest of the tour but again, we're grateful that they're alive. It's a shame we say our goodbyes this way but we wish them all the best! We've had such a great time touring together and we will miss you, dearly! Goodbye brothers! We wish you the best! May our paths cross again!" More...
Cauldron Recruits Fill-In Vocalist
Cauldron is out on the road with Warbringer, Enforcer, and Exmortus, but unfortunately the band will not make the Calgary tour date, and future dates will feature a fill-in vocalist. Cauldron comments:
"Unfortunately we've had to pull out of the Calgary show tonight due to a throat infection that has left Jason will barely any voice and the risk of permanent vocal damage if we continue. We will return tomorrow in Edmonton with Dan Cleary of Striker filling in on lead vocals.
"The rest of the boys will still be hanging at show tonight with our new record and merch for those who are interested (though will show up a little later). Sorry and thanks for understanding, we hope to see you again soon."

Warbringer Kicking Off North American Tour
Warbringer will launch a new North American tour in New York City on January 5th, 2016 at The Gramercy Theatre. This co-headliner trek with Sweden's Enforcer will be almost two months and cover the U.S. and Canada, along with opening acts Exmortus and Cauldron.
This is the first domestic tour Warbringer has done since the fall of 2013 when the group opened for Overkill and Kreator in support of last album, "Warbringer IV: Empires Collapse." This is the band's only tour planned for 2016 as Warbringer will continue to write and plan to record a fifth album later in the year.
"The band sounds fucking killer right now and I can't wait to get out there and assault the stage," comments singer John Kevill. "It is worth mentioning that I've seen a number of 'people leaving bands' news pieces recently. Most often they cite the complete impossibly of making a living playing music, and the difficulty of the touring lifestyle. Well, I can say from experience that all of that is true.
"It's tough, there's no denying that. But that isn't what I want to talk about here. What I want to talk about is what has kept me going for the 10+ years and 1000+ concerts I have done with this band I started right after finishing high school. I've seen more of the world than I ever thought was possible, met thousands of people from all walks of life, and from them learned much of the world. Among other things, I learned to remain humble and to always remember what an honor and privilege it is to perform songs I made with my friends, to complete strangers who live thousands of miles away who will come out on a work night to see me and my fellow band dudes banging our heads. Too many people lose sight of this. So that is why I am still here, and why I will see you guys on each of the 47 dates of this tour. Be ready. I am." More...
