Sons Of Crom Announces "The Black Tower"
The Swedish / Finnish northerners from Sons Of Crom return later this summer with new album "The Black Tower." The album is due for release on August 18th and will be available in multiple formats.
The whole visual presentation was crafted by Babalon Graphics, with the cover artwork available below after a stream of new single "Black Wings Up High." The following press release was alos issued:
"The Riddle of Steel has been solved. The mountain's call answered, the earth conquered and spent. Now, the stars beckon - celestial gateways unlocked through ancient sepulchers, divine bloodlines, and the undying fires of spiritual rebirth.
"Without regard for convention, this ethereal journey is set to unorthodox tones of grandiose heavy metal. Flowing from the deepest black abyss, through brooding melancholy and into the proud glory of the rising sun, this voyage is as bold as it is divergent.
"Join our hero on a perilous quest for the eternal truth beyond the shrouds of mortality, where time and space hold no ground and the misty veil between life and afterlife is a mere illusion. Sacrifice reason and ascend - enter the Black Tower." More...
Sons Of Crom Signs With Nordvis
Sons Of Crom just inked a deal with independent label Nordvis for a new release coming next year. The record label comments:
"We're delighted to announce the alliance between Nordvis and the Haparanda northerners Sons of Crom! This new collaboration is something we definitely look forward to, especially because of the common roots, being neighbors in a wild Swedish north and the fact that their way of creating epic heavy metal will add another dimension to this family. After their amazing debut 'Riddle of Steel' we now look forward to adventure onwards on the path towards their upcoming craft that will be released late spring/early summer. And as many times before we and Sons of Crom will be working with our U.S. family over at Bindrune Recordings for the North American territory."
A few words by Sons of Crom regarding this new alliance: "With profound and whole-hearted excitement we announce the next chapter in the legacy and journey of Sons of Crom. A new coalition of Nordic forces will defy Hel itself as Nordvis, our new label and brother-in-arms, joins our heathen cause, guiding our black ship through restless seas of death and resurrection, leaving no haven safe.

Sons Of Crom Unveils Album Artwork
The artwork and full track listing for Sons of Crom's upcoming first opus, "Riddle Of Steel," are today being revealed.
The "Riddle Of Steel" cover art was conceived by Helgorth from Babalon Graphics (Blut Aus Nord, Behexen Official, etc.) and the album is set to drop in September through Debemur Morti Productions.

Sons Of Crom Signs With Debemur Morti
Sons of Crom (which apparently has nothing whatsoever to do with the spawn of Metalunderground's CROMCarl) has inked a deal with Debemur Morti Productions. The label comments:
"We are extremely proud to announce the signing of the very promising young band - Sons of Crom.
"The music of this Finnish-Swedish duo formed by Janne Posti and Iiro Sarkki can be described as a fantastic mix of different influences among which we could mention Bathory, Arcturus or Enslaved.
