Hevilan Signs To Massacre

Massacre Records has issued the following announcement about a new band signing:

"Meet Hevilan, one of the latest additions to our artist roster! The history of Hevilan from Brazil began back in 2005 when Johnny Moraes (guitar) decided to search for musicians that shared the same ideals and soon found Biek Yohaitus (bass) and Alex Pasqualle (vocals) to form a heavy metal group.

"Hevilan then released the well received 3-song EP 'Blinded Faith,' which was followed by the 'Blinded Tour' through four Brazilian states and which included a gig at the Pedrock festival in Pedralva, Brazil. Support gigs for Primal Fear (2006) and Dr. Sin (2007) also should be mentioned."

Hevilan describes the band's sound as "dark, aggressive, but at the same time melodic." After extensive touring, Hevilan began to work on the band's debut album. After pre-production, Aquiles Priester (Hangar, ex-Angra) was announced as guest drummer on Hevilan's upcoming album.

The band's debut album "The End Of Time" is set to be released later this year via Massacre Records.
