Shadow Society Parts Ways With Bandmember

US based symphonic extreme metallers Shadow Society recently released the following press statement whilst preparing for the recording of their highly anticipated debut album scheduled to be released in early 2015 by Loud Rage Music:

"It is with a heavy heart that we write this press release to inform you, the fans, of a decision that has been made by the collective known as Shadow Society. We as a band have decide to part ways with our founding member, brother, partner and friend, Adam Sagan.

"You see, the whole of the band is centralized in Florida all except for Adam. Due to the fact of Adam’s incredibly busy schedule and him living in Minnesota he has not been able devote the time and effort that as a band, including Adam feel is necessary to take Shadow Society to the next level.

"From day one Adam has always stated that he will not be a part of holding the band back in any way due to his distance. We tried to make it work for three years and accomplished much in that time but other opportunities have had to be passed on. As a band; Asgrim, Rob, Dave, Adam, Kevin and Kadath feel that no longer can opportunities be passed on and all possible avenues be explored… So ends this chapter.

"Enter now a new beginning…

"We are pleased to announce the successor to the drum throne of Shadow Society, Jonathan Lee. Some of his credits include live and studio work with Acheron, The Autumn Offering, and Hell on Earth as well as drum tech for Death and Control Denied. Jonathan spent the late 90’s promoting black metal bands from across the globe while working at US cult metal label Full Moon Productions. More...

Shadow Society Signs To Loud Rage

Loud Rage Music is proud to announce the addition of a new band in its roster: Tampa Bay, Florida based symphonic extreme metal act Shadow Society, which features members of Deicide, Circle II Circle, and Order of Ennead.

The band self-released debut EP, “Into the Unknown,” in 2013 and is now working on completing the track list for an upcoming debut album due to be out on Loud Rage Music later this year. Shadow Society's Rob Thoth comments:

“We are very excited to be working with Adrian and Loud Rage Music. When he approached the band and asked what we were looking for I responded with 'A label that appreciates our music and enjoys it, as well as wants to help take us to the next level.' We found those qualities in Loud Rage Music and are looking forward towards the next chapter for all of us! Plus, the label is based in Transylvania, can you get any more dark and metal than that?”

Loud Rage also adds: “We are very pleased to work with and for such a promising band as Shadow Society. Tampa Bay, Florida gave the World some of the most influential names in Death Metal, it’s time for a new name to emerge from those gifted lands, and Shadow Society is that name. Judging by their impressive debut EP, 'Into the Unknown,' I have no doubts the band will deliver an Earth-shattering full-length album, so keep your eyes on Loud Rage Music and Shadow Society for this album’s developing story!”
