Universal Mind Project Streams Remastered Track
International progressive metal act Universal Mind Project released the remixed/remastered version of the song "Xibalba." The song was originally released on the band's debut album "The Jaguar Priest," which is available now through Inner Wound Recordings.
Universal Mind Project is the vision of composer/guitarist Michael Alexander and ex-Seduce the Heaven vocalist Elina Laivera and features drummer Alex Landenburg (Luca Turilli's Rhapsody/Cyhra) and keyboardist Jonah Weingarten (Pyramaze). "The Jaguar Priest" also saw guest contributions from Mark Jansen (Epica, Mayan).

Pyramaze Keyboardist Joins Universal Mind Project
International progressive metal act Universal Mind Project announced the addition of Jonah Weingarten (Pyramaze) as the band's new keyboard player. The band recently released the debut album "The Jaguar Priest" back in May via Inner Wound Recordings. Weingarten introduces himself in the video clip below.
Guitarist Michael Alexander commented: "It is with great pleasure to welcome Jonah in our team of friends and musicians. His great work will fit perfectly with our ideas for the following works and his great personality for the stages as well.
"Jonah possess a wonderful sense of melody, great capabilities for cinematic and orchestral sounds which we are very much looking forward to add into our own style with Universal Mind Project. We are very happy having Jonah as a full creative band member now of the band, and we are looking forward to begin this journey with all the guys as a whole, and create the best music we can. Universal Mind Project Releases "Truth" Video
International progressive metal act Universal Mind Project released a music video for the new track "Truth." The song appears on the debut album "The Jaguar Priest," which is available now in Europe and North America through Inner Wound Recordings. The album will be released in Japan on May 25th through Bickee Music.
"Truth" features a guest appearance by Mark Jansen (Epica, Mayan). The video was directed and edited by Dominik Louis (D. Louis Productions).
In a mix of perfectly executed modern progressive/power metal combined with the unique diversity of male and female vocals that stylistically spread from lyrical and fragile to soothing and powerful, as well as the use of growl vocals at parts of the record, the debut album "The Jaguar Priest" encloses a most impressive league of artistic creation.

Universal Mind Project Streams New Track
Universal Mind Project - the vision of composer/guitarist Michael Alexander and ex-Seduce the Heaven vocalist Elina Laivera - issued a lyric video for the new track "The Force Of Our Creation." The song appears on the debut album "The Jaguar Priest," which is set to drop on April 29th via Inner Wound Recordings. The band launched a crowd funding campaign for pre-orders and the creation of a music video. The campaign features an array of perks which you can grab at this location.
"The Jaguar Priest" will be released was mixed and mastered by DGM guitarist and renowned producer Simone Mularoni and features guest appearances by Nils K Rue (Pagan’s Mind), Mark Jansen (Epica, Mayan), Charlie Dominici (ex-Dream Theater) and Diego Valdez (Helker/Electo_nomicon).

Inner Wound Recordings today presents you the artwork for "The Jaguar Priest," the upcoming debut album from progressive metal band Universal Mind Project.
The artwork was created by Jan Yrlund (Apocalyptica, Korpiklaaini, Leah) and "The Jaguar Priest" will be released on April 29th in Europe and North America. "The Jaguar Priest" was mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni and features the following track listing:

Universal Mind Project (a/k/a UMP) - a collaborative project between musicians from all around the globe founded by composer/guitarist Michael Alexander - signed on with Inner Wound Recordings for the long in waiting debut release "The Jaguar Priest." The album is set to drop on Europe and North America on April 29th.
