Infernaeon Announces New Line-Up

Florida based metal band INFERNAEON have announced the addition of several new members including Jeramie Kling formerly of The Absence. The bands front man Brian Werner had this to say, “After that last Pyrexia tour we had a cancer within the band that needed to be removed forcefully which threatened everything that this band is trying to accomplish. Our drummer at the time ended up getting the job with Malevolent Creation, so you can’t fault him for that. Sam and Brian just wanted to go in different directions and we wish them the best of luck. Seriously, we hope those guys find what they’re looking for. We have Chris Default from Divine Empire back in the band, who was an original member and wrote most of these songs anyways as well as Jeramie from The Absence who is straight up a seriously cool motherfucker and one of the best drummers I’ve heard in a while.”

The band also welcomes to the fold guitar player and long time friend Erick Leider to replace Sam Molina and Dave Stein on Keyboards.

“These guys are some of the most dedicated musicians I’ve worked with in a while. They take their trade seriously which makes working with them so much easier than before. I’ve known Erick for the better part of 10 years and when I asked him if he wanted to do this, he quit his job, cleaned out his bank account, left his woman and moved to the other side of the country to be a part of this. Not to mention Dave is Kevin’s brother so it’s cool to have some blood in the band.”

The band is currently on tour supporting their latest album, "A Symphony of Suffering," on Prosthetic Records. The band will be supporting Skinless and Vital Remains for the week and then finishing up with Fierce Allegiance on their way home to Florida.

“We have a shit load of touring coming up this summer and well into the fall. We can’t announce it yet until everything confirms, but we should be very active for the rest of the year. See you fuckers soon. We have a ton of new merch available at Indiemerch.com”

Kevin Kinkade Pays Tribute To His Influences

COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN drummer Dave Kinkade (ex-DIVINE EMPIRE, MALEVOLENT CREATION) sent the following message to Blabbermouth.net:

"I'm currently in Holland with my wife and just this evening, had the honor of seeing MORBID ANGEL on tour in Tilburg.

"I just want to say that I'm sick of this bullshit where drummers and death metal musicians in general sit here online talking shit and more shit about each other and other bands BUT really don't EVER pay fucking tribute to the guys who got them into this to begin with.

"I just introduced my wife to my longtime friend Pete Sandoval (MORBID ANGEL) and Nick Barker [CRADLE OF FILTH, DIMMU BORGIR, BRUJERIA, BENEDICTION], who have always been huge idols of mine. We watched Pete from behind all night murder the drums and it was fucking FLAWLESS. He not only played perfect, BUT played the set faster, tighter and sicker than ever before.

"I've been a fan of extreme death metal for years, even before I started playing it for a living, and I have to fucking say, I've seen everyone in the business play, but NO ONE gets me going more than watching Pete and MORBID EVERY FUCKING TIME. Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL) made his comeback after a few years with MORBID and completely fucking demolished. Headspin fucking galore from the first to the last song. I LOVE THIS FUCKING BAND.

"Metal drummers... Learn where your roots come from if you have the balls to play death metal. Forget this two-foot blast shit... if it was not for Pete and members of the old school, you would never be playing this shit. Hail the true... fuck the fake... Know your roots."

The CD was recorded at Liquid Ghost Recording Studio in Boca Raton, Florida by Phil Plaskon and mixed at Studio Wild in Quebec by producer Jean-Francois Degenais (KATAKLYSM). Divine Empire New Album Details

Florida's death metal outfit Divine Empire is ready to unleash their brand new, hate fueled bullets upon all of us with their new album “Method Of Execution.” Opening with the crushing atmospheric track “Vowed Revenge,” it becomes immediately clear that the new album “Method of Execution” is a giant leap forward for the band. “Prelude to the Storm,” for example, provides some beautiful classical guitar melodies accompanied by violin and cello lines before blasting into “Storm of Hatred".

Produced once again by Jeremy Staska (Malevolent Creation, Hateplow, Remembering Never, Nonpoint, Poison The Well), Divine Empire have achieved their most stellar production to date. The guitars are clear yet dirty; the drums sound big yet sharp; and the bass cuts through beautifully, making Blachowicz’s impressive techniques on the four-string apparent. He also gives the vocal performance of his career, displaying a range that could very well give Glen Benton a run for his money.

Divine Empire have always released strong death metal records, but with “Method of Execution”, the band has reached a creative zenith. They’ve grown from their straight ahead death metal origins to include a variety of influences, helping distance them from their Malevolent Creation brethren. Stronger melodies, catchier song structures and hints of classical, doom, black, and even classic rock all rear their ugly heads. Without a doubt the Empire has solidified its reign and shall continue to rule for years to come.
