Face Down Replace Drummer
FACE DOWN, the reunited Swedish outfit featuring former THE HAUNTED singer Marco Aro, have parted ways with drummer Erik Thyselius. "There's no hard feelings and he will continue to keep playing with CONSTRUCDEAD and TERROR 2000," the band write in a statement. "We wish him the best of luck with all his future endeavors and thank him for his time in the band.
"[Erik's] replacement is well-renowned drummer Christofer Barkensjö (KAAMOS, BLACKSHINE) who will be lending us his skills from now on. Rehearsals are already underway and things are sounding awesome. Welcome to the band! First gig with Chris will be at Club Monster in Gävle on the 10th of March so be sure not to miss out on that."
FACE DOWN entered the Swedish hard rock album chart at position No. 19 with their latest effort, "The Will to Power" back in November 2005. The CD was recorded at Fear and Loathing studio (co-owned by MESHUGGAH and CLAWFINGER) in Spånga, Sweden with engineer/producer Jocke Skog (CLAWFINGER) and was mastered at the Cutting Room. A limited-edition version of "The Will to Power" includes special DVD-box packaging, a specially designed slip-case, an XL version of the booklet, a FACE DOWN sticker, and two bonus tracks not found on the regular CD edition ("My Sacrifice" and "Strife", re-recorded versions).

Kaamos Forced To Cancel Party.San Festival
Due to reasons they could not foresee, Kaamos had to cancel their live appearance at Germany's Party.San festival on August 12, 2005. Kaamos will be replaced by German technical death metal band Necrophagist.
Marduk To Do Headlining Gig In Stockholm
The Swedish black metal band Marduk will do a headline gig at Klubben in Stockholm, Sweden together with Khold (N), Kaamos (S), Wykked Wytch (USA) and Endstille (D) on February 18, 2005.
The doors will open at 19.00, all ages. Tickets can be purchased at Soundpollution and Frizzle Records.
Kaamos To Release New Album In February
Swedish death metallers Kaamos will release their second full-length album, "Lucifer Rising", on February 28 via Candlelight/PHD. The follow-up to 2002's "Kaamos" was recorded at Berno Studio and is set to include the following track listing:

Kaamos will be opening for Marduk, Endstille and Wykked Witch at the Stockholm stop on their upcoming European tour. Also appearing on the bill will be Norwegian black metallers Khold. A flyer for the Feb. 18 show can be viewed at this location.
Kaamos Announce New Tour Dates
Kaamos have announced the new dates for their upcoming tour, "Tour Of The Damned," together with Repent. The confirmed dates are as follows:

Kaamos Delays New Album
Swedish death metallers Kaamos have pushed back the projected release date of their second full-length album, "Lucifer Rising" (Candlelight/PHD), to late fall/winter. No reason was given for the delay.
