Until Rain Posts New Video

"Inure," the epic third album by Greek alternative/progressive metal act Until Rain, is officially out in the U.S. today through Sensory Records.

The stateside street date for "Inure" follows the album's recent European release in late April, which was tied into the band's European tour supporting Laser's Edge labelmates Wolverine and Oddland.

Until Rain is currently still out on the road on a second tour in support of thr new album, this time through the Balkan countries with Poem, the final three shows happening in Bucharest tonight, Belgrade tomorrow, and the band's hometown of Thessaloniki on Sunday. Additional tour dates will be announced in the weeks ahead.

The band has further issued a new video for the album's "This Solitude," which fuses elements of a lyric video with artwork creation, playthrough/performance footage, and more. More...

Until Rain Streaming "Progressus In Idem"

"Progressus In Idem" is the new single from Thessaloniki, Greece-based alternative/progressive metal act Until Rain, the song hailing from the band's third album, "Inure," which is approaching release through Sensory Records.

Offers the band on this new track: "We couldn't be more excited to release another song from our soon-to-be-released album, 'Inure.' It's the opener, it's heavy and we can't wait to play it live for you. See you on the road!"

Sensory Records will release the album in Europe on April 28th and in the U.S. on May 12th. Until Rain has further booked two European tours tied directly into the release of "Inure." First up is a split co-headlining tour with Sensory labelmates Wolverine and Oddland, with shows in the UK, France, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden from April 26th through May 6th.

Until Rain Posts New Music Video

Thessaloniki, Greece-based alternative/progressive metal act Until Rain just released a first single for the upcoming Sensory Records-bound "Inure" LP, issuing the track "Because Something Might Happen" as a music video.

Running over nine minutes in length, the wide spectrum of textures and stylistic approaches captured on Until Rain's exploratory new album are explosively displayed on the extensive new track. Boasting a storyline and visual conveyance as intense as the song itself, the video for "Because Something Might Happen" was directed and filmed by Charlene Mercedes, with post-production by Tolis Karoulas, and features special guest Venetia Psomiadou.

Until Rain Signs With Sensory Records

Greek progressive/alternative metal outfit Until Rain has signed with Sensory Records for the release of impending third full-length album, "Inure." The band has issued some insight into the album today, including a dramatic trailer, track listing, and more. Additionally, the band has scheduled both European mainland and Balkan tours in conjunction with this release.

"Inure" was recorded by Until Rain in various European cities, including Thessaloniki, London, Gothenburg, and Lausanne, and mixed/mastered by Daniel Cardoso of Anathema in Lisbon, Portugal.

The album features artwork by new Greek artist/designer Nassia Kefala, and a hand-drawn cover that completely represents the concept of the album and the duality of many inured people; appearing lush on the outside, yet they are rotted inside. With nine massive tracks, "Inure" presents an hour-long journey that you will want to take again and again, the digital release bearing an additional bonus track as well.

Sensory Records will release "Inure" in Europe on April 28th and in the US on May 12th; an official digital single for "Because Something Might Happen" will be released through Spotify and other digital outlets on March 21st, accompanied by an official video for the song the same day. More...

Damnation Angels Announces European Tour

U.K. based symphonic metal act Damnation Angels announced that they will embark on the band's first ever tour of Europe with Andromeda and Until Rain. The tour kicks off on November 15th in Copenhagen. The band is also working on the new album "The Valiant Fire," which is tentatively set for an April 2014 release. One new track was debuted at the band's recent performance at ProgPower USA in Atlanta back on September 6th.

Until Rain Announces Sophomore Album

Greek progressive metal band Until Rain announced that the band will release its sophomore full length LP "Anthem to Creation" on August 23, 2013 via Escape Music. "Anthem to Creation' was mixed and mastered at Fascination street studios by Jens Bogren (Symphony X/Opeth/Paradise Lost). The band went through a couple of band name changes from 2004-2009, using the monikers Delirium and Theimeurgía.
