Evadne Posts New Song Online
Spanish Melodic Doom/Death Metal band Evadne has posted another remastered track online from their forthcoming compilation album, "Dethroned Of Our Souls." You can check out the song, "Awaiting" below. The album is set to be released tomorrow (December 5th) through the Armenian label Funere.

Evadne Debuts Remastered Version Of "The Wanderer"
Spanish melodic doom metal band Evadne are preparing to release their first compilation album, "Dethroned Of Our Souls." In celebration of the release, the Valencian outfit have partnered with Metal Underground to debut the remastered song, "The Wanderer." You can check it out below.
"Dethroned Of Our Souls" is set to be released on December 5th through the Armenian label Funere and is comprised of a remixed and remastered edition of the EP, "Dethroned Of Light," as well as a live rendition of "Colossal," a cover of the Officium Triste song, "Like Atlas" and a demo version of "In The Bitterness Of Our Souls."

Hypnotic Dirge Records Offering Free Compilation
Hypnotic Dirge Records is today presenting a new free digital download compilation album, titled "Subarctic Nocturnes: Doomed to Be [Volume 1]." The label comments:
"This year, we are releasing something more comprehensive than ever before, with a compilation trilogy series which will have a different genre focus on each volume and which we will release over the course of the next few months. We are extremely pleased to unveil the first album in this series now, with a focus on all things doom!
"Within this volume, you will find a collection of amazing artists at the forefront of the global doom scene, both Hypnotic Dirge bands and guests from other bands around the world. Doom Metal Front Streaming New Compilation
German doom metal magazine Doom Metal Front, now on its tenth print issue as well, is streaming the newest and eighth of its renowned compilations. The anthology, titled "Tears from the Mediterranean," features 50 bands from southern European countries and Mediterranean island nations such as Malta. You may also stream the previous five compilations on that page and listen to the full tome below.
Doom Metal Front is an independent, bilingual (German/English), printed and digital paper spreading the doom over the world. They prefer sluggish riffing, slow rocking and experimental droning stuff, because they are 'born too late.' They ascribe to the belief that 'if you think this music is kind of paralyzing, then you are definitely too fast.'
