Ghold Gearing Up For U.S. Tour

South London's bass and drums power duo Ghold begins a first North American tour in just one week, supporting the revoltingly intense debut LP, "Of Ruin." Ghold will bring monolithic sludge to stateside fans as direct support for Norwegian avant-rock explorers, Årabrot.

Several new shows have been added to the upcoming tour, bringing the total of cities to be decimated by the Ghold and Årabrot combo to twenty-three. The action begins on June 24th in Boston, after which it will wind its way throughout the country and into Canada in a mangled counter-clockwise path closing down in New York City on July 19th.

Along the way, the tour package will be joined by the likes of Rabbits, Towers, Dispirit, Lycus and many others, including Pinkish Black on the final six dates. More...

Ghold Headed To The U.S.

In support of debut full-length album, "Of Ruin," which was released by Ritual Productions in mid-March, South London's bass-and-drums sludge power duo Ghold will make a maiden voyage to American shores on a nearly month-long tour to be headlined by Norwegian Grammy winning outfit Årabrot.

Just a few weeks subsequent to the impending performance at Temples Festival in Bristol, Ghold will bring gnarly, wayward, avant sludge-crushing turmoil stateside. Catch the band live:

Ghold Streaming Full Album

Recorded at lss Studio with Dan Miller, Ghold's new album "Of Ruin" was mastered by James Plotkin (Khanate, Old) and can now be streamed in full below, courtesy of Metal Hammer.

With stints of regional European touring already underway in support of "Of Ruin," Ghold will come to North American audiences for the first time this Summer. Details on this crushing impending venture remain cryptic, but stand by for additional reports in the coming days.

In the meantime, Ghold prepares to raid this year's massive Temples Festival in Bristol, UK on Sunday, May 31st. More...

Ghold Streaming New Album

The U.K. dirge combo Ghold is streaming its entire four-song outing "Judas Ghoat" over on bandcamp and below in the player. Referred to as a weight and grunt power duo whose weapons of musical destruction are comprised of bass and drums, Ghold also released this album via Gnostic/Mystic records as a limited 100 unit cassette pressing. Ghold has a gig scheduled at the Unicorn Camden on June 22nd with Sea Bastard, Earthmass and Torpor on the roster.
