Bastard Feast Streaming Full New Album

Portland, Oregon's extreme metal/sludge powerhouse Bastard Feast is streaming new album, "Osculum Infame" ("The Shameful Kiss") in full. "Osculum Infame" will be released by Season of Mist on July 22nd (July 18th worldwide).

Bastard Feast Streams "The Rats Through Our Veins"

Portland, Oregon's extreme metal/sludge powerhouse Bastard Feast is streaming the third track off forthcoming new album, "Osculum Infame" ("The Shameful Kiss"). The track, titled "The Rats Through our Veins," is streaming below courtesy of SSG Music.

Bastard Feast has also kicked off a North American tour. The tour, which sees the band travel throughout the West Coast, making stops in Boise, Salt Lake City, Denver, El Paso, LA and more before concluding on July 14th. A full list of confirmed tour dates can be found below.

"The new record is a change in the path for us. We have dialed in our sound even more and sold our souls to hell to channel more darkness. The album is lyrically bleak and filled with contempt. Adding a 2nd guitar and finding our new bass player Jesse has completed our brotherhood for this band. Bastard Feast Finishes Work On New Album

Portland, Oregon's extreme metal/sludge powerhouse Bastard Feast (Taylor Robinson - guitar, Joshua Green - vocals, Nickolis Parks - drums, Justin Yaquint o- guitar, and Jesse Aspy - bass) has finished recording a new full-length.

The band's second album will be released through Season of Mist's Underground Activist Division in 2014. Bastard Feast's forthcoming full-length was recorded, mixed and mastered by Stephan Hawkes (Exotic Animal Petting Zoo, Red Fang) at Interlace Audio in Portland, Oregon.

Regarding the album, guitarist Taylor Robinson said, "The new record is a change in the path for us. We have dialed in our sound even more and sold our souls to hell to channel more darkness. The album is lyrically bleak and filled with contempt. Adding a 2nd guitar and finding our new bass player Jesse has completed our brotherhood for this band. Elitist Changes Name To Bastard Feast

Portland's Elitist has officially changed the band's name to Bastard Feast. Taylor Robinson (guitar), Joshua Green (vocals), Nickolis Parks (drums), Justin Yaquinto (guitar), and Jesse Aspy (bass) are currently writing new material for a forthcoming release on Season of Mist.

Regarding the name change, guitarist Taylor Robinson said: "Bastard Feast represents us upping the ante on the evil, disgusting music we make. The name Elitist has been buried and Bastard Feast is the portal through which we will now dispel our hatred."

In June 2011, Bastard Feast released the album "Fear in a Handful of Dust." The full-length is available on Season of Mist’s e-shop, as well as digitally and on Bandcamp (with updated artwork). Regarding "Fear in a Handful of Dust," Bastard Feast said: "This is for those of us who observe and recognize the evidence of evil in faith, hypocrisy of government and the poisons of herd mentality.
