Device Drops Off Avenged Sevenfold Tour

David Draiman of Device has posted the following message online about dropping off the upcoming tour dates with Avenged Sevenfold:

"My brothers and sisters my blood,

"After careful consideration, I've decided to stay at home where I am needed most right now, with my family and newborn son, and not support Avenged Sevenfold with Device on their current November-December run.

"I want to thank my brothers in Avenged Sevenfold for the opportunity, for their friendship, and their understanding, and I look forward to seeing all of you again sometime in the future.

"Sincerely, and with my deepest respect,

Device Cancels Upcoming Tour Dates

Device, which features David Draiman of Disturbed, has checked in with the following announcement about canceling all upcoming live shows through October:

"Due to complications with his wife's pregnancy, David has chosen to stay close to home until the baby is born. All scheduled tour dates between now and the due date of the first week in October have been canceled."

David also posted this message online via Facebook: "Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. Lena and the baby are OK, just a rough time in the home stretch. Needed to be here for them. Thanks for understanding." More...

Lacuna Coil To Play ShipRocked

The ShipRocked 2014 band lineup has expanded with the addition of Lacuna Coil, Love & Death (featuring Brian “Head” Welch), Art of Dying, Butcher Babies, Scorpion Child, and Wilson.

The 5-day cruise will also feature a special onboard DJ set by Neil Sanderson of Three Days Grace and a comedy set from Big Jay Oakerson. Rock and roll dance troupe Hells Belles Burlesque is slated for a pair of performances, and will be offering burlesque workshops during the cruise.

The rock music cruise vacation onboard the Norwegian Pearl will depart from the Port Of Miami and will visit Great Stirrup Cay - a private island in the Bahamas - during the January 26th - 30th, 2014 excursion.

Rocklahoma Lineup Revealed

The daily performance lineup for Rocklahoma has been revealed and single day tickets will be available for purchase beginning Wednesday, April 17 at 10:00 AM CT at this location.

Rocklahoma - presented by Bud Light - will celebrate its seventh year May 24th, 25th, and 26th with a lineup including Guns N’ Roses, Alice In Chains, Korn, and many more.

The three-day camping festival features the top current active rock artists and classic bands at “Catch the Fever” Festival Grounds in Pryor, OK. The lineup is available below.

David Draiman To Guest On New Megadeth Album

The Megadeth Facebook page has been updated with the following announcement about David Draiman making a guest appearance on new album "Super Collider:"

"As if we weren't amped enough to get the new Megadeth album 'Super Collider' in June, now the disc will pack an added punch.

"David Draiman of Disturbed/Device has joined Dave Mustaine in the studio to collaborate and appears on the album as a guest vocalist on the upcoming track entitled 'Dance In The Rain.' The new album is set for release on June 4th."

David Draiman's new project Device will release a self-titled album this coming April 8th, with full details available at this location.

An expanded band lineup and festival experience has been announced for the third annual Monster Energy’s Welcome To Rockville - April 27th and 28th 2013 - at Jacksonville’s scenic Metropolitan Park along the beautiful St. Johns River.

Gemini Syndrome Announces New Tour Dates

Fresh off a nationwide tour supporting Mushroomhead, hard rock/metal band Gemini Syndrome will hit the road for a spring tour with labelmates Device, a collaboration featuring David Draiman of Disturbed.

The tour kicks off on April 10th in Mobile, AL, and includes spring festivals Welcome to Rockville and Carolina Rebellion.

Gemini Syndrome consists of five musicians — Aaron, Rich, Mike, AP, and Brian — from diverse musical worlds who converged when the guys discovered that Aaron’s spiritual musings melded with Rich, AP, and Mike’s taste for dark and melodious rhythms.
