Chilean heavy metal band Meridian has released a music video for the title track "'Meridian" that comes off the group's self-titled debut album.
The music video was directed by Leo Pozo of DMF Producciones at Transmission Studios in Santiago, Chile and includes a special appearance by Charlotte Wielmans. Check it out below. Vocalist Sr. Diaz commented:
"On this project I have been working with some really good musicians of my Chilean scene, this represents the passion for metal music and the occultism that we all share. We actually experienced some paranormal activities during the whole rehearsing and recording process of it. Heavy metal band Meridian has announced that on October 31st, 2013 the band will release a music video for the band's self-titled track. The video will be directed by Leo Pozo at DFM Producciones in Santiago, Chile and will feature actress/dancer Charlotte Wielmans.

The new four-song EP by Chilean band Meridian is now streaming in its entirety over on Digmetalworld, or in the player below. Meridian is the side project of Vastator's vocalist, Sr. Diaz, and Entrance's guitarist Richard Pilnik.
The EP contains four tracks of classic heavy metal. The "Meridian" EP was recorded by Richard Pilnik and Gerardo Barnechea at Kabara Musical Studios in Santiago, Chile and mastered by Richard Pilnik studios. The art cover was designed by Chaotic Kimist. Check out the lyric video for the title track below the EP stream.
Chilean heavy metal band Meridian has revealed cover art and tracklisting for its debut EP "Meridian". The release date is set for April 15th via Digmetalworld Records. Meridian is the side project of Vastator vocalist Rob 'Sr.' Diaz and Entrance guitarist Richard Pilnik and the mini album contains four tracks of classic heavy metal. More information and a lyric video for the track "Meridian" will be released in a few days.

"We are putting out these tracks so people can get to know us, but we are already working on a full album to be out - we hope - by the end of this year. Meridian's sound is classic heavy metal like Mercyful fate and Judas Priest, but we still would like to add a little more aggression to it, so we are working on it as it is right now". Vastator's vocalist Rob 'Senor' Diaz has revealed the new track "Midnight Train" from his new collaborative band Diaz Pilnik Meridian. Diaz started this namesake band with guitarist Richard Pilnik (ex Entrance, Australis), bassist Jaime Ahumada (Cygnus) and drummer Eduardo Lascar (ex Panzer - Bismarck), all from the Chilean scene. The four track EP will be titled "Meridian" and released in March on Digmetalworld, three of the tracks already titled. Commented Sr. Diaz:
"(The) project will be more thrash than all my work previously done with Vastator in the past, and all the art work will be done by Chaotic Kismit in USA.
