Astrophobos Releases New Music Video

Swedish black metal band Astrophobos today presents the official music video for “Soul Disruptor,” a song that comes off the band’s first full-length album "Remnants of Forgotten Horrors," released in late January on Triumvirate Records.

Directed by Jakob Berglund and produced by Furnace Fighter Media, the video for “Soul Disruptor” can be seen below.

In other news, Astrophobos recently expanded to a quartet with the addition of drummer Jocke Wallgren. Jocke Wallgren, also of Swedish black metal band Valkyrja, has been playing live with the band following the release of “Remnants of Forgotten Horrors” and will make his first appearance as full-time drummer on February 26th at Debaser Strand in Stockholm celebrate the release of the new Icelandic movie "Metalhead." Astrophobos Announces New Drummer

Sweden’s Astrophobos is pleased to announce that drummer Jocke Wallgren has joined the band as a permanent member.

Jocke Wallgren, also of Swedish black metal band Valkyrja, has been playing live with Astrophobos following the release of debut full-length “Remnants of Forgotten Horrors” in late January. He will make his first appearance as full-time drummer on February 26th at Debaser Strand in Stockholm along with Agrimonia, an event that celebrates the release of the new Icelandic movie entitled "Metalhead."

Recorded and mixed at Garaget Studio by Erik Nilsson (Aoria, A Swarm of the Sun) and featuring session drummer Fredrik Widigs (The Ugly), “Remnants of Forgotten Horrors” follows the “Arcane Secrets” EP from 2010. More...

Astrophobos Streaming New Album

Astrophobos Signs With Abyss Records

Swedish black metallers Astrophobos have inked a deal with Abyss Records for the release of the band's forthcoming debut full-length album. The band is set to enter the studio this month with producer Erik Nilsson (A Swarm of the Sun, Aoria, Kausal) to record the album, which is expected to see the light of day this winter. Astrophobos has enlisted the services of Fredrik Widigs (Demonical, The Ugly) as a session drummer for the recording. Check on the group's website for updates.

The band has posted a pre-production teaser of the as-of-yet-untitled album, which follows below. Abyss Records also has the band's self-financed 2010 EP "Arcane Secrets" available on its website. More...
