Brutal black metal outfit Thornesbreed just released new track "Dividua Anima Pt. I" online - listen in via the SoundCloud clip below (courtesy of No Clean Singing).

The track hails from the band's second album, "GTRD," set for international release on June 29th via Art of Propaganda. "GTRD" is Thornesbreed's first full-length in 12 years, and first new release since 2011 as well as the band's first for Art of Propaganda. The track listing is as follows:

Thornesbreed Releasing New Album

Art of Propaganda is proud to present Thornesbreed's second album, "GTRD," set for international release on June 29th. The label had this to say about the impending release:

"Long-awaited to say the very least, 'GTRD' is Thornesbreed's first full-length in 12 years, and first new release since 2011 as well as their first for Art of Propaganda. However, during that time, the German quintet have been in a quiet 'n' clandestine state of transition. Formed in 1997 as a death metal band, Thornesbreed released three demos before signing a deal with Animate Records, who released the band's debut album, 'The Splendour of the Repellent,' in 2003 to good critical response across Europe.

"Following the album's release, the band played over 100 concerts across Europe and some select festivals in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. That time spent on the stage, as well as burning desire to dive deeper into blacker realms, has resulted in Thornesbreed's crowning statement of their new era, 'GTRD.' More...

Mortal Infinity Playing Castle Invasion Fest

German thrashers Mortal Infinity will perform at this year's Castle Invasion Metal Open Air, which takes place August 17th and 18th at Burg Frauenstein in Altheim, Ausgtria. Mortal Infinity will take the stage Saturday the 18th right after Destruction's set. For more info on Castle Invasion Metal Open Air visit the Facebook event page.
