Iron Maiden, Kiss And SOAD To Headline Download
The organisers of the Download festival, the biggest rock and metal event in Great Britain, have announced that the 2020 edition will be headlined by Kiss, Iron Maiden and System Of A Down. A statement from the organisers reads as follows:
"Downloaders, the day is finally here - your first Download Festival 2020 lineup announcement is here! We couldn’t be more stoked to reveal that your headliners will be... KISS, Iron Maiden, and System Of A Down!
"Not only that, but NINE more bands will also be coming to rock the hallowed grounds of Donington Park, including Deftones, Korn, The Offspring, and Disturbed! Download 2020 takes place on 12th-14th June and tickets are on sale now, so make sure you grab em!"

Iron Maiden Announces World Tour Dates
British heavy metal icons Iron Maiden has announced a series of headline shows in both North and South America for the Summer of 2019 as part of their "Legacy Of The Beast" tour. Support on the trek will come from The Raven Age, featuring George Harris (son of Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris,) while additional support at the Los Angeles show will come from Fozzy.
Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson comments: "We’re excited to return to North America and share the Legacy Of The Beast Tour with all our friends there! We’re immensely proud of this show and we’ve had great reactions from the many fans who came to see us in Europe earlier this year. The production is based on our mobile game The Legacy Of The Beast which basically takes various incarnations of Eddie into many different Maiden Worlds. This inspired us to put together a stage show to take our fans through different Worlds and experiences set to appropriate songs. It is not that easy designing different Worlds on stage and we put a huge amount of work into this to make it work and the end result we feel is our most spectacular and certainly the most complex show to date.
"We’ve got all kinds of crazy things going on, including a replica Spitfire plane dominating the stage during ‘Aces High,’ tons of pyro, a giant Icarus, muskets, claymores and some truly marvellous flame-throwers which I have a hell of a lot of fun with, as you will see! And of course we have Eddie, as you’ve never seen him before, and absolutely loads of other surprises. British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden and independent family brewers Robinsons announce the creation of Light Brigade, a unique golden English ale with a 4.1% ABV. It has been developed in support of Help For Heroes, the British charity that provides recovery and support for the Armed Forces community whose lives are affected by their service.

Super 7 have been pairing the "M.U.S.C.L.E" toy franchise with various properties lately, including "Masters Of The Universe", "Mega Man" etc.

The organisers of Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting festival has announced a string of new names for next year's edition of the event, which will be held over four days from June 21st to June 24th. In addition to the previously announced acts, Guns N Roses, Ozzy Osbourne and Iron Maiden, the festival will also host such big names as British heavy metal icons Judas Priest, thrash metal legends Megadeth, Kreator and Exodus, nu metal giants Limp Bizkit and the Ice-T fronted, Body Count, amongst many others.

Iron Maiden Confirmed For Graspop 2018
British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden has become the latest band to be confirmed for the 2018 edition of Belgium's premier metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, as part of their "Legacy of the Beast" tour, which will focus primarily on material from the 1980s. The group joins Ozzy Osbourne and Guns N Roses on the bill, which for one year only will be held across four days, in what the festival has dubbed the "XL Edition." The event will be held from June 21st to June 24th and tickets for the show go on sale this Saturday (November 18th.)

Iron Maiden’s Eddie Now Appears In "Angry Birds"
Iron Maiden's mascot Eddie has made his way into the video game "Angry Birds Evolution", as part of a seasonal promotion that will run till Halloween, October 31st. Eddie appears as ‘Eddie The Bird‘ in the game with four evolution steps based on the mascot's looks from the band’s albums: “Killers“, “Powerslave“, “Somewhere In Time” and “Book Of Souls“.
Angry Birds' main hub will also take on an Iron Maiden inspired look for the duration of the event. You can stream a trailer of that below:
Iron Maiden Premieres New Live Video
Iron Maiden premieres a new live video for "Speed Of Light", taken from the band's upcoming new live album and film "The Book Of Souls: Live Chapter", which will meet a November 17th release through BMG. Planned formats include CD, deluxe CD, vinyl and digital formats.
A live concert film for the release for it is also planned and will initially be streamed for free with more details to come. A digital download of the movie will be made available for purchase following the premiere.

Ghost Kicks Off Tour With Iron Maiden
Grammy Award-winning band Ghost - which is currently being sued by former members - just kicked off a North American tour with Iron Maiden last night in Bristow, VA at Jiffy Lube Live.

Iron Maiden Adds Arena To "Legacy Of The Beast"
Iron Maiden embarks on the final leg of "The Book of Souls" world tour this weekend, simultaneously launching a synergistic player-vs-player battle arena for the band's mobile game, "Legacy of the Beast" (reivewed here).
The game offers players a unique way to interact with Iron Maiden's real world activities by introducing not only a replica of one of the tour stage productions, but also the debut of "The Book of Souls" version of Shaman Eddie into the game, in his Mayan themed incarnation as featured on the band’s most recent studio album. Other characters from "The Book of Souls" are set to follow.

Iron Maiden Re-Issuing Albums On Vinyl
Parlophone Records will follow 2014’s reissue of the first eight Iron Miaden albums, which spanned the 1980s, with twelve brand new pressings of albums from the period 1990 - 2015 in heavyweight 180g black vinyl.
Unlike the 1980’s reissues, which were cut from the original analogue master tapes, the audio on these releases has been cut from the high resolution remasters of 2015 when the Maiden catalogue was digitally upgraded. They will be packaged in identical artwork to the initial vinyl releases.
The records will be released chronologically across a three month period:
