Finnish sludge band Lurk has made a couple of its new tracks available for streaming. The two songs, "Ritual" and "Rest Unitaries," come from its latest digital release "Kaldera." That album was just unveiled on Doomentia Records a couple of weeks ago.
The eight tracks on "Kaldera" are what Lurk says is 'dedicated to the dark ruins of humanity's failure. They might evoke to some a Crowbar LP played at the half of its normal speed or maybe the depressing rumblings of Zatokrev.'
Finnish doom/sludge combo Lurk has released it's debut album on Total Rust Music. Four of the tracks from it have been uploaded to YouTube, like the track "Soar." You may watch that one below or check out more of Lurk's songs over on MySpace. Lurk formed in 2008 in Tampere, and recorded this album at Fantom studios.
