Canadian heavy/doom metal group Cauchemar today confirms more dates for an upcoming European tour taking place this fall. Currently encompassing 26 dates across nine countries, Cauchemar will be joined along the way by the likes of Seremonia, Mansion, Occult Burial, and Night Gaunt.
During this tour, the band will also be playing four festivals - Malta Doom, Darkness Prevails, Nuclear War Now! and Hammer of Doom - all in support of the "Chapelle Ardente" album released earlier this month by Nuclear War Now! Productions.

The third annual Defenders of the Old Fest, which will be held from March 13-14, 2015 at the Bell House in Brooklyn, has added a third day for Sunday, March 15th featuring Sweden's Nifelheim and Kansas City's Ares Kingdom, plus two more acts to be announced.
The main festival will see headline performances from Riot (n/k/a Riot V) (on Friday, March 13th) and Canadian legends Exciter (back with the original lineup featuring drummer/vocalist Dan Beehler) (on Saturday, March 14th).

Machine of War (Featuring NME's Brian Llapitan to perform "Unholy Death" in its entirety)
Aggression (Canada) (Legendary Speed Metallers from Quebec. First show in the U.S.)

Heavy Days In Doom Town - a DIY celebration of all things slow and heavy - will be a 4 day event at 3 different venues in Copenhagen from May 3rd through the 6th, 2012. It will start with a warm up show at the alternative venue Stengade, Stengade 18. Then there will be 2 days of music, art, events and madness at the DIY activist driven social centre Ungdomshuset, Dortheavej 61 and then finally a cool down day in Copenhagens free town Christiania with movie screenings, acoustic outdoor shows and the final concert at Christiania's rock club in Loppen. Three more bands have been confirmed on the roster of the Trendslaughter Festival II, which will take place on January 29th in Bangalore, India. Local band Dying Embrace will once again return for this second installation of the festival, as well as Canadian act Cauchemar and Japanese metal band Abigail. 2012's Trendslaughter Festival II should be yet another eight hour outing at the Kyra Theatre in Bangalore, featuring international bands from all genres of metal.
