Black Label Society Splits With Guitarist Nick Catanese
Black Label Society has amicably parted ways with longtime guitarist Nick Catanese and wish him the very best in his future musical endeavors. A replacement will be officially announced soon.
Zakk Wylde and company has been holed up in Zakk's personal studio the past few months hammering out a new full-length album, which is set for a spring 2014 release through EOne. Stay tuned to the band's official website for all additional information.
Black Label Society's newest offering, "Unblackened," is in stores now via EOne. It's a live acoustic album recorded on March 6th, 2013 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. The extensive double-disc set consists of that entire live performance, alongside six newly recorded tracks.

First I thought it was Zakk and said to myself "what the f***?" before I realized it wasn't him. Zakk leaving BLS wouldn't make sense because it's his band and he's the one who started it.
