I THINK IT'S GREAT! THE LEAD SINGER SOUNDS DIFFERENT HERE BECAUSE HE HAS LOST HIS WHINY FALSETTO. THERE IS AN OBVIOUS INSPIRATION FROM AC/DC. ANGUS YOUNG'S TIME-HONORED FRET NOODLING STARTS THIS SONG, AND REMAINS A COMMON MOTIF THROUGHOUT. WHEN "HAIL" IS SHOUTED OUT, IT ALSO REMINDS ME OF AN AC/DC SHOUT, A GOOD EXAMPLE BEING "ALL HAIL CEASAR". IF YOU WANTED TO CONSIDER DEEPER MEANINGS, "HEIL" IS A REASONABLE HOMONYM.

Well, I wasn’t a fan before and the only reason they caught my attention to begin with was the little stint with Portnoy.
That said, it’s exactly what I expected.
Radio rock.
Sort of has the little AC/DC guitar noodling in the background.
It’s….safe.
Kind of like Metallica, it’s all rather corporate and sterile…competent but dry and devoid of any real feeling.
LOL, it’s not bad, it’s just not for me…but if others enjoy it then by all means enjoy it.
Sorry, just my thoughts from a newbie.
