Anthrax Issues Statement On Splitting With Guitarist Rob Caggiano
Anthrax has checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with guitarist Rob Caggiano:
"Rob has been an integral part of Anthrax for so many years, as our lead guitarist, in a production capacity, but most of all, as our close friend. His contributions to the band have been enormous.
"While we are sad that he is leaving, we wish him nothing but great success going forward, and hope to share the stage with him again sometime down the road.
"With the Metal Alliance Tour on the horizon, we have been considering several lead guitarist options, and will be making an announcement on that shortly."
Dates for the Metal Alliance tour with Exodus, Municipal Waste, and Holy Grail can be found at this location.

I wonder why Rob left. It's not like Anthrax is a full day job these days, I'd imagine.
Btw, It would be pretty comical seeing Anthrax being inducted to the RockNRoll Hall of Fame with all the past and present band members onstage at the same time.
Frankly, Scott and Charlie should ask Chris Broderick. Who knows, he might be fed up with his present employer. Just saying.

Sorry to hear this - Worship Music is one of my favourite 2012 albums! Good luck to him in the future!
