Second Devil's Train Album In The Works

Devil's Train, the hard rock/traditional metal act fronted by Mystic Prophecy vocalist R.D. Liapakis, have begun the writing process for the follow up to the band's debut self-titled album that was released earlier this year. The album will be recorded at Prophecy & Music Factory Studios in Germany once again and will be produced by Liapakis. The release will come via earMusic/Edel.

Liapakis commented: " .... once again, it will be a feast of Pure Rock 'n' Roll, with all the heaviness, and, as always, full of heart and soul ... But at the same time we feel like we are taking everything to the next level, in terms of composition, flavor and edge ... The four of us have a great chemistry together, and this will show once more, only a lot more ... "

Along with Liapakis, Devil's Train includes drummer Jörg Michael (Ex-Stratovarius) and bassist Jari Kainulainen (Ex-Evergrey/Ex-Stratovarius). The band is also in the process of scheduling new live dates for 2013.
