El Drugstore Working On New Album "Plague Ship"
Keyport, New Jersey-based rabid metal trio El Drugstore is currently in construction mode, demoing and preparing a debut full-length.
Featuring guitarist Kevin Conway (ex-East of the Wall), drummer Seth Rheam (East of the Wall), and bassist Rolando Alvarado, this Keyport, New Jersey-based outfit has been dropping a brew of aggro-technical metallic racket since 2008. The band's debut, a split full-length with cohorts A Fucking Elephant -- which marked the maiden release for both bands’ then newly-founded Nefarious Industries -- El Drugstore is now beyond balls-deep in the songwriting process for "Plague Ship," the band's first studio full-length.
The album will be recorded in the coming weeks, and is slated for a late Spring release, once again via Nefarious Industries. El Drugstore recently released a demo version of “Fascinating Underpants,” one of the mangled anthems set to be a part of "Plague Ship." The track was posted as an exclusive premiere via American Aftermath here.
Upcoming El Drugstore live shows are:
12/15/2012 Saint Vitus Bar - Brooklyn, NY w/ Behold The Arctopus, Ocrilim
1/15/2013 The Brighton Bar - Long Branch, NJ w/ Jar'd Loose, Hammer Fight, Toothgrinder
3/03/2013 TBA - NJ w/ The DRX
