Band Photo: Slipknot (?)

A live video of METALLICA members James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo performing the track "Enter Sandman" with SLIPKNOT drummer Joey Jordison at the Download festival in England on June 6 has been posted online at the following locations: Server#1, Server#2 (62 MB).

As previously reported, METALLICA's regular drummer, Lars Ulrich, was taken to hospital with an undisclosed illness just hours before METALLICA were due to headline the festival. Rather than pull the show and risk a revolt from fans, METALLICA called upon SLIPKNOT and SLAYER drummers, Jordison and Dave Lombardo (respectively), alongside Ulrich's long-standing drum tech Flemming Larsen, to rescue the gig. Jordison played in his SLIPKNOT mask.

I would agree relliK, I have been a Slipknot fan ever since I saw them on the 99' ozzfest tour. The fan base back then was a much older crowd that wanted to get away from the stresses of life for a night and rock out. I went to their recent Jeigermeister tour and all I saw was either little kids with thier chaos spike hairdo's trying to be badasses by acting retarded, and older people trying to be young and stupid. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE SLIPKNOT, and if you don't like them than thats cool, but I am just saying that since they are mainstream now, it seems as if though it is a cliche to like them in order for someone else to look at you as odd.
