Ozzfest 2004 Unsigned Band Search To Be Televised

Sharon Osbourne has spoken to the TV show "Extra" about the recently announced "twist" to the ninth annual Ozzfest tour — the Osbournes will choose one unsigned band and take them on the road. Asked if this this going to be the newest reality show, Sharon replied, "It might be, it might not be. But it is going to be televised."
Following the cancellation of her talk show, Sharon plans to face off with Simon Cowell in a new TV talent search show called "The X Factor". Sharon says that both son Jack and daughter Kelly are back on track and she and Ozzy are feeling better than ever. "How lucky am I to have such a family? I am blessed," she told "Extra".

The Playgirls are the band to get. 4 seriously excellent musicians knocking out wicked riffs and decent tunes. Don't go to a covers gig, go to an originals gig, their tunes rock! If you haven't heard them you should get along to their website sharpish. Shame I can't put a hyperlink but the name is pretty obvious (don't forget to put in "the" or you'll get dodgy stuff) and they are in the UK (hint hint) or you can search for The Playgirls on Google.

will be good exposure for the bands. At least they are showing an interest in the up and comming bands at the moment which is more than you can say for mtv and the sh1t signed bands they promote. Cant you find something better to do with your time than slag off the osbournes. when will tv companies in the uk get the idea that a show will sell with real bands and not talentless crap on pop idle? the future is live at www.gbob.com
