Allegaeon's second full-length album, "Formshifter," has significantly out-performed its predecessor and reached #29 on the Billboard New Artist Chart and #99 on the Top Hard Music Albums. You can check out Metalunderground.com's review of the album at this location.
Guitarist Ryan Glisan comments on the achievement: "We here at the Allegaeon camp are beyond excited and frankly a little humbled at the response from the metal community in support of our new album.
"It's rare this day in age for people to purchase 'any' music and the fact that so many people have bought our album this first week is incredibly reassuring for a new band and just shows how truly amazing our fans are. So a very huge thank you to everyone who supports music and supports us, thank you."
Recently, Allegaeon launched a lyric video for "Behold (God I Am)," which can be viewed here. The video, which was animated by Josh Knoff, features elements from the "Formshifter" artwork. The cover art, created by Colin Marks, is the band's signature "A" symbol. Allegaeon has the upcoming tour dates:
05/17 Denver, CO The Marquis Theater
05/18 Ft. Collins, CO Hodi's Half Note
07/28 Oakland, CA Oakland Metro Operahouse w/ Decrepit Birth - B.A.M.F.
