Demon Hunter Premieres New Music Video For "My Destiny"
Today Demon Hunter is pleased to be unveiling the official video for "My Destiny," filmed by director Robby Starbuck, whose credits range from Otep and August Burns Red to Smashing Pumpkins and Snoop Dog. "My Destiny" is off the new album "True Defiance," due out April 10th, 2012.
"The storyline follows five teenagers as they try to make the most of their dull suburb community – skateboarding, hanging with friends, stirring up trouble, discovering music together. This was how a lot of us in the band grew up," explains frontman Ryan Clark. "For the performance footage, we wanted to do something that hinted at the 'early days' of being in a band – rehearsing in a tiny, grungy practice space, inspirational posters on the wall, fluorescent lights overhead, minimal space, and lots of sweat."
"'My Destiny' is about growing up and finding music that ultimately changes you," Clark adds. "It's about that definitive moment that I knew music would become an immeasurable part of my life."

I find it funny that people who listen to metal get so offended by pro religious lyrics. It seems more negative things are written about christian metal bands than black metal bands that advocate burning of churches. Don't get me wrong I listen to bands many would say are offensive, like Slayer, Slipknot,Cannibal corpse just to name a few. I just would never think anybody would be so upset over Demon Hunter lyrics.

someone get fkn first aid...zumbi's butthurt...posting on a metal video requires sincere insensitivity towards pro religious propaganda...where sir you fail..
"I listen to bands many would say are offensive, like Slayer, Slipknot,Cannibal corpse just to name a few"...this is by far the most favored BS argument put forth by the likes of you...where sir you fail again..

First off #5, I've always viewed the term "butthurt" as meaning something along the lines of, "lashing out semi-coherently without a rational or valid argument." I don't think zumbi qualifies. He raised an important, debatable point in a measured tone - unlike your ignorant, muddled, nonsensical post. Return with some intelligence or not at all.

Thanks Overkill. I didn't mean to start some big argument over it, just an observation. Most bands write about their interests and what they know. I'm not sure I would call it propaganda. If so, where is the outcry about Ministry and Al Jourgenson's anti-Bush/republican "propaganda"? To me there is no difference. Both bands sing about what they believe in and I have no problem with either. If the music is good, then the music is good.
