Last week saw the release of the debut album from Imminent Sonic Destruction titled "Recurring Themes" (reviewed here).
To celebrate the release, Imminent Sonic Destruction performed a special CD release show on February 24th at The Magic Bag in Ferndale, MI. The band played to a packed house treating fans to songs from the new album as well as some killer covers. Fan-filmed footage of the band performing the Dream Theater classic "Metropolis" can be viewed below.
Guitarist Scott Thompson spoke about the CD Release Show: "I think we succeeded in putting on the kind of show we had only dreamt about to this point. We sounded great, our playing was precise, and the lighting/video production added to create a spectacle that proved we are ready for the next level. Metal fans, and non-metal fans were equally entertained."
Frontman Tony Piccoli added: "It was an absolute success at every level. Looking forward to taking the show on the road."
