Crowbar To Tour The United States With Prong

New Orleans sludge metal veterans Crowbar have announced that they will be joining forces with New York heavy metal outfit Prong for a series of shows this Spring.
Prong will be touring in support of their new studio album, "Carved In Stone," which will be released on April 23rd in Europe and April 24th in North America. Crowbar are still promoting their latest album, "Sever The Wicked Hand," which was released in February of last year through E1 Music.
The initial tour dates are as follows (with more expected to be announced):
April 5 - Dallas, TX - Trees
April 6 - Houston, TX - Scout Bar
April 8 - El Paso, TX - House Of Rock
April 11 - Hollywood, CA - The Whisky
April 12 - Flagstaff, AZ - Orpheum Theater
April 13 - Gallup, NM - Slopshot Billiards
April 14 - Denver, CO - Marquis Theater
April 16 - St Louis, MO - Fubar
April 18 - Cleveland, OH - Peabody's
April 19 - St Paul, MN - Station 4
April 20 - Chicago, IL - Cobra Lounge
April 21 - Detroit, MI - Harpo's

Oh fvck, this would be AWESOME! Never had chance to see Crowbar, but seen Down a few times....haven't seen Prong since '93 when they opened for the Bad Brains in Tijuana

Just have to see how the timeframe works out, as I still might be stuck in CA at that point, and have to try catchin' this thing in god forsaken Jollywood :)

Well nevermind they wanted too much money and it was on a weeknight so my friend didn't want to risk putting on that show. I dont blame him after the weak turnout last year with malevolent creation i kinda dont blame any band or promoter sfor not putting on any more major shows in indpls.
