Polands's State TV has announced that they have removed Behemoth frontman Nergal, aka Adam Darski, from it's talent show, The Voice Of Poland, after much pressure from the Catholic Church, claining that they will not replace him with another "death metal rock star."
"In connection with press reports about Adam Darski's behavior during a recent Warsaw club concert... his provocative behavior showed a lack of respect for religious convictions, as well as for the sick and handicapped," Polish TV's president, Juliusz Braun, said on 13 October.
The incident Braun is refering to is a recent concert in Warsaw, Poland, where Darski dressed up as a priest and pretended to cure a handicapped person.

Wow, that statement doesn't sound parroted at all. Im not a religious person or anything but because of my own personal moral conviction im kind of perturbed by your comment. You say that as if every church going person is intolerant and nergal isn't intolerant at all of beliefs other then what he thinks??? Or for whatever reason his has validity to it so its okay? If that's the case and there was an organized group of people who thought the same way in his favor then that would be an institution the same as the one you are complaining about. Maybe even worse because I do not think every church going person is intolerant. So on the behalf of others I would say it is quite irresponsible to lump everyone into that category. Or perhaps you like having only two sides of the coin, because as for most I always find it easier for someone to parrot one group or another instead of being a moderator, right?

MR, Jackrum said the church, as in the Catholic Church itself, not every church going person. The Catholic Church has a long history of suppressing what they don't like and being intolerant of others. In a heavily Catholic populated country like Poland, the Church can, and often does, demand things they're opposed to to be removed, or at least hushed.

I believe you will discover sarcasm in my previous post, not intolerance.. However i do believe any and all organised religion is a bad thing and the cause of more death and strife on this planet than anything else.
please note, no sarcasm in this post.. opps except this bit

You know what the ironic thing is? The bible states do not judge, and do not outcast anyone. If the church is so bent on having the nation become a complete and respectable catholic society then why do they set up targets and isolate and condemn people? Why push them further away from your case? Better still, why not leave it the f*** alone all together?
Yes I am christian, but even I have respect for Nergal.

I am just annoyed by many things, and its nothing against you Jackrum I apologize if that was off-the-wall, I'm just being hyper responsive. I think he (strictly talking about Nergal, not any commenters) is just as intolerant as the opposition, and every antic he does is becoming childish. Then on top of that, it's kind of trendy to say "Pfft, yeah the (whatever organization I'm currently disagreeing with) being (enter whatever is relevant to the topic here) never...." then glare and look like your intelligent and original. You just always have that one guy no matter what on any topic. Yeah I get the sarcasm of course, that is what that general statement always implies. That gets old to me just as much as Nergal's dog and pony show. I was pretty clear about what I said, so for anyone that didn't get it, this is all I'm trying to say. If there was a organization or i.e. a church of Nergal, it would be just as intolerant to ideas other than their own as the catholic church, if not more. And putting things on two sides of a coin never fixes anything, usually that small space between the both of them is ever the one hundred percent correct way. I apologize, politics is getting to me man.....lol.
