Limp Bizkit Reveals New Album, "Gold Cobra" Release Date
Reunited nu-metal hate target Limp Bizkit has announced that the band's new studio album, "Gold Cobra," will finally be released on June 7th through Interscope Records.
This will be the first full length release from the band since 2003's "Results May Vary" and the first with the original lineup since 2000's wildly successful, "Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavoured Water."

For all you haters, have you forgot how amazing limb bizket's guitarist Wes Borland is? You guys forgot to give credit to the guy who taught Randi Rhodes from ozzy Osbourne how to play guitar. Many people just want to shrug this fact off.
Also, Fred Durst and Limp Bizket revolutionized metal and inspired every single band from 2000-2010. So, hate them for being good. Fred Durst is a legend among us.

MISSPELLED THE BANDS NAME!! HAHAHAHA
""You guys forgot to give credit to the guy who taught Randi Rhodes from ozzy Osbourne how to play guitar.""
AND EXACTLY WTF DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING?!?!?!?!?!
""Also, Fred Durst and Limp Bizket revolutionized metal and inspired every single band from 2000-2010""
WUHAHAHAHAHA, LAY OFF THE CACK PIPE!! AND STILL MISSPELLED THE BANDS NAME
""So, hate them for being good. Fred Durst is a legend among us.""
WE HATE THEM FOR DIFFERENT REASONS OTHER THAN THAT LAME A$$ OPINION. AND FRED DURST IS A LEGEND, A LEGEND AT A STUPID WHITE GUY TRYING TO BE ALL GANGSTA WANKSTA!!

i thought this lp already came out , i aint gonna lie i pumped LB til 02, i dont hate them but fred killed the band with his decisions and antics...
when i first heard they were making an album i was like ok, but when i saw all these rappers coming on as special guests on the record i lost intrest then and there...what they fail to recognize is that nu metal/ rap and roll is dead...i really think if they'd go the hardcore route say hatebreed style i think they would have a fighting chance but if they are gonna go with the same schtic, it wont work here in the US....but the world still obviously loves them, i honestly was happy to see them get some love from fans at download 09....

Fred Durst=god: If you EVER utter Dr. Rhodes' name again and even TRY to imply that Wes Borland is even capable of holding the Dr.s jock strap I will litterally stick my foot so far up your a$$ that you will be completely evicerated during the extraction. Wes Borland was still sh!tting hay seeds when Dr. Rhodes died so if it's facts you want to discuss lets start with this one: You're an a$$hole baby. Now suck a wet fart out of my a$$ jackstain.

How the hell is this true? Wes was born in 1975 and Randy in 1956...now how the hell does Wes teach Randy how to play? hahaha.

I just wanna say that I am truly happy for my friend Diamond Oz.
The young man's been spanking his cobra for ages waiting for the new Limp Bizkit album and now he gets the Golden one!
Plus, now Limp Bizkit's management is extremely happy as well; Assuming Oz will buy the album, presently the total sales for this forthcoming masterpiece in the British Islands stands at 1 copy.
"Good things come to those who wait", or so "they" say.
"They've" always full of it, haven't they?

Haha, I will buy the album but it probably won't be a first week purchase for numerous reasons. Believe it or not, since LB came back, their fan base in the UK has become much bigger again. They're still hated by alot of die-hard metal fans of course, but not as much as they seem to be elsewhere.

Yea I'm gonna ignore post 11. I'm gonna give the new album a listen just to see where they've come as a band. I don't think it'll be the worst thing in the world. I think that for the genre of music they played they were good at that time. I watched a lot of WWF wrestling before it became WWE back in the day and Limp Bizkit were played a lot on that show. Never really bothered me.
I guess when their album drops I'll find out if I should either like it, or walk into Walmart with a semi-automatic weapon and destroy people because the album is so bad.

28. writes:
Well R Ten. if you happen to read an article somewhere about some guy in NY shooting up a Walmart you'll know it was bad haha. But honestly I doubt it'll be that bad. Like I said for what they played as a band, Limp wasn't that bad. I never hated them, but their music was whatever.
I got a friend who still does the pay per view thing too. You should ask him, see what he says, cause they had some sort of storyline with Durst in it but I don't remember what happened.

Oz, just kidding, mate ;)
I'm not the kind of guy that slags off a band cos it seems to be "the thing to do", which is definitely the case with Limp Bizkit.
I actually liked The Unquestionable Truth part I and Starfish was pretty good, too.
They're a band with a sound of their own, like em or not.
Okays, Gotta run now. Weekends, gents!
33. writes:
if slagging off this crap band is the 'thing to do', then i fvcking started that trend, as i've DESPISED everything about these fvcking losers since their inception...true pieces of human sh!te
i do find it amusing that the sh!t canned ex 'jounalist' can't seem to accept that nobody misses his sorry azz, and that he has resorted to trolling in the Lil Vengie style of a bratty child...
ha! fvcking bottomfeeder :)

hell, i wouldn't hammer the goofy kid either if he'd just leave well enough alone, and keep his flapper zipped
...but coming on here under the pretext he did deserves a few swift kicks in the arse, i reckon
besides, anytime anyone's ever given Bottomfeeder the benefit of the doubt, he's thrown it right back in their face, and just can't seem to clean up his sloppy style anyhow
so off to the slag heap he goes! :)

In my opinion Chocolate Starfish is the only album by them even worth listening too. Other then that, that one song Break Stuff off Significant Other is the only other thing worth listening by them. It doesn't even matter though cause I'm not getting any of their albums.

I thought the 1st LB cd was awesomme. Pollution was a great song, until durst became polluted and all up in his a$$ about himself. he did it all for the nookie & i was out. I personally hate dursts voice, he turned his back on metal fans by talking sh** & i hope to never hear anything by him again

lolololol it's a good thing you were joking man. :P
I wonder how many people actually googled if that was true lol.

I was just a young metaller when Randy died. Just gotten into the Priest and Maiden ;had the two Ozzy tapes and we sold are soul for rocknroll. News of his death kind of flew under the radar back then. I only remember Rolling Stone magazine doing a tribute to him It took years after to build up his legacy;child prodigy ;teaching guitar at 16 etc. He's definitely one you wonder what if on. I'm guessing metal would have been just a passing phase to him but who knows. That's why post 11 was so baffling.

Good, don't.
I'm ashamed to admit liking the first and 2nd album at the impressionable age of 17. I knew it was silly and stupid and in most respects the 90's equivalent of Crue, Poison etc even at the time... Mindless, meaningless and with laughably brainless lyrics and infectious choruses and hooks.
Timely but capable and even clever band--with a terrible, horrible front man.

And here I was, thinking that nothing is going to top the new Protest The Hero and The Human Abstract albums.
For all you haters, have you forgotten how amazing "limb bizket"'s vocalist Fred Durst is? You guys forgot to give credit to the guy who taught Maynard James Keenan how to sing. Many people just want to shrug this fact off.
Get a life, you guys.

I'll give this a spin. Even though I lost my taste for them a loooooong time ago, back just as I was starting to get into heavier stuff, I just have to listen to this.
Just because.
Also, for Wes. LONG LIVE BIG DUMB FACE.
