Brazilian thrash metal legends Sepultura have announced that the name of their forthcoming new studio album will be "Kairos." The album is expected to be released sometime around May and will be the band's first for their new record label, Nuclear Blast.

A recent update from the band regarding the recording process reads as follows:

"February 28th was the last day at Trama Studios for Sepultura. The recording is done! More than 1 month of hard work here in São Paulo with producer Roy Z.

"Cover artwork is done, album tracklist is set, booklet band photo is taken and mixing starts right away."

Popular consensus wants full on Sepultura reunion. At least for a tour! For those who didn't see them back in the day;myself included. Probably won't happen. Heard Paulo is holding reunion up. Everyone else is willing I believe

I have said this before, but I'll say it again...The real "SEPULTURA" died years ago when Max left the band, and after Igor left aswell, everything after that is simple garbage... all it is now is Andreas trying to cash in on the name itself, u guys can see it how u want it, but r u guys gonna sit here and tell me that Guns N roses is actually GnR just because that Fu*king A-hole Axl is still upfront?? ... nope, it will never be the same...so in my eyes, the real "Sepultura" is now called CAVALERA CONSPIRACY. \m/

New Sepultura just doesn't do anything for me. I consider it similar to the Blaze Bayley Maiden. Maiden doesn't even acknowledge the Bayley stuff anymore

I want a Sepultura reunion with Max and Igor too, but face it it's just never going to happen. Andreas and Paulo don't even want to work with those guys again.
