Yea I remember these douches back in the day. Yellow and black spandex ;big hair;throwing bibles into the crowd. Their career wasn't very long. Surprised their still around. I was full on into Slayer and such when they put out their to hell with the devil thing. Deicide would make a great tour tandem with these guys. Bentons made a pretty decent living off the Christian hate. f*** em all!

I'm sure everyone noticed that Deicide's new album "To Hell With God" is a deliberate slap at Stryper's "To Hell With the Devil".
Too funny, I don't think Benton has gone on record as saying such, but it seems rather obvious.
Still.....the show with Slayer would have been legend.
Better than the big four IMO.
The Jesus vs. Satan show. LOL.

I honestly don't remember Stryper having any fans back then. Or anyone willing to admit to being a fan. Don't recall the gimmick lasting very long.
