British hard rock legends Def Leppard have been confirmed as the headlining act for the first day of the United Kingdom's Download Festival, which will take place at Donington Park from June 10th- 12th.
This will be the second time the group has headlined the event, after closing the festival in 2009. Several more bands have also been added to the bill, including Down, Twisted Sister, Duff McKagen's Loaded, and Trash Talk.
In other news, Def Leppard will be releasing a live album this summer entitled, "Mirrorball," which will feature a mix of the band's classics performed live, three brand new songs recorded in the studio, and a bonus DVD which will feature live performances and backstage footage. More information on this release will be revealed once it has been made available.
