Arms Of The Sun Splits With Bassist Rex Brown

Bassist Rex Brown (Down) has issued the following brief announcement about parting ways with Arms of the Sun:

"To all the friends & fans, I have left the Arms of the Sun project. I wish them well & Godspeed!!! Good luck brothers!!!"

A replacement bassist has not yet been announced. Arms of the Sun also features John Luke Hebert on drums, Lance Harvill on vocals and guitar, and Ben Bunker on guitar. The band recently completed work on thirteen tracks that were produced and mixed by Terry Date, and the new album's release date is to be announced soon.

Oh that's a bummer, Hopefully Rex plays in Down still and continues to play the bass for bands. It'd be sad to see him quit.
