Guitar Legend Gary Moore Succumbed To A Heart Attack

According to reports made on British news and celebrity site Mirror.co.uk, legendary Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore passed away due to a suspected heart attack, a postmortem revealed on Monday, February 7, 2011. Moore had passed in his sleep Sunday morning, hours after checking into the five-star Kempinski Hotel in Estepona on the Costa del Sol, Spain. He was 58 years old. A Spanish police spokesman said today;
"Mr. Moore died of natural causes and his death is not in any way suspicious. An investigating magistrate has opened a standard inquiry to determine the exact cause of death."

'Still got the blues for you'....the passion, the music, the man. Gary Moore will live on as the great player and musician he is. He will be up there with the all time greats, the ones who 'live' in our hearts. Very very sad loss to all music lovers. He will be morned for a long long time.

Might I just add that one can fret about how he died, too much to drink...whatever, its his private business and we must repect that. At 58 hes not old but hes not young either and you cannot do what you did when you were young at 58. (I am 59 so I should know!)

very sad, Gary moore, such a great guitarist. Just played "Still got the blues for you album, all the way thru...fanstastic! Playing with such greats as Albert King and Albert Collins. Gary had such a great blues voice.
He will live on for a long time at my abode.
