In March of 2010, Spanish black metal act Gothmog announced the recruitment of Elias Redón "Modgud" on vocals and Jose Antonio Quiles "Aspherion" as keyboardist. The band has now issued the following announcement parting ways with Modgud:
"Unfortunately, we have to announce that the band has decided to go ahead without Modgud due to incompatibility with his personal affairs. We wish him very luck in his future projects. Brother, you will always be part of the history of Gothmog.
"Currently the new album is finished and recorded, in the absence of finding someone to deal with the voices. Anyone interested?"
Additional details on the band's new album "Aeons of Deception" can be found at this location.
