Stay tuned for further confirmations.

Bummer, Download wont ever be as good as it used to be, Wacken is now the better festival. 2009: Slipknot... great preformance, but comon. 2010: AC/DC: these guys are classic, but really not the premier band to be headlining Download. and now 2011: Avenged Sevenfold.... bummed out now, what's gonna be of 2012? Korn?

SM: You're joking right? AC/DC aren't important enough to headline Download but Slipknot are?

AC/DC is surely a main stage band, but they aren't HEADLINING the entire fest. I don't like slipknot, but they don't do a bad show, plus they are one of the most popular bands.

AC/DC are one of, if not the biggest rock band in the world. Back In Black alone has sold well over 40 million copies and the band has headlined Donington three times before this year and sell out stadiums wherever they go. I'm sorry but no band is more qualified to headline Donington than AC/DC.
