Swedish death metal outfit In Flames has posted a message online via their Twitter account regarding work on their new studio album, which will be the first without founding guitarist, Jesper Strömblad. The message reads as follows:
“Pre-prod is almost finished, songs are almost done and we are almost ready to start the actual recording of our next album! We’ll be releasing exclusive clips filmed for our fan club Jesterhead.com starting sometime in the next week.”

@Progressivity_In_All I see what you mean, and im not expecting a ground breaking album without Jesper, but Jesper may not be coming back, thats why. He even said he was unsure if he would return to In Flames and wished them luck on the journey. We all hope Jesper will return, but theres no guarantees.

Why would they not just wait until he got out of rehab? Is the record label really breathing down their necks for a new album? That's just weird.
