Relapse Comments On Signing Record Deal With Noisear

As was previously announced, Noisear has inked a deal with Relapse. Relapse Records has now issued the following statement about the signing and the band's upcoming activity:

"Noisear, described as 'desert baked grindcore from the land of enchantment,' has previously released their full-length album Pyroclastic Annihilation in 2008 in addition to a number of splits, vinyl-only releases, and compilations including this year’s This Comp Kills Fascists Vol. 2. Noisear is set to release four brand new tracks next month via a digital and 7” vinyl split with The Arson Project. Additional release details for the split will be announced soon.

"Noisear are currently writing for the follow-up album to Pyroclastic Annihilation, with plans to record this winter for an early 2011 release. The band is booking a U.S. tour in support of the new album for May of next year. Additional album and tour information will be announced shortly."
